We finished clearing everything and went back to Madam Blanchet, that told us we had nothing else to do for the day, so Charles and I had lunch together at a restaurant nearby called Pizza Vesuvio.

"So, when were you going to tell me you know Kylian?" he asked.

"I didn't think it was important," I answered, then took a bit of my slice.

"Well then, let me mention that I'm a football fan!" He admitted, "and that was the best first day!"

I giggled and said, "I am too. Have you been to a match here?"

"No, only in Italy," he said, "my boyfriend used to train in Juventus, so that meant free tickets."

"Next time I go, I'll let you know," I told him.

"Really?" He asked, "thanks, that would be amazing."

As we finished our meal, we paid and started to walk home, but suddenly a black VW SUV pulled up next to us, and the window rolled down to reveal Kylian.

"Besoin d'un tour? (Need a ride?)" He asked.

"It's fine; I'm walking Charles home," I answered.

"It's okay; I live right there," Charles said and pointed to a building not far.

"Alright," I answered and hugged him, "I'll see you tomorrow."

"Bye!" Charles replied.

I opened the door and got in with my crossbody bag. Then I looked at the front, and there was Louis.

"Louis!" I chirped, "great seeing you again."

"It's a pleasure to see you as well, madame," he said, "going to the same place as last time?"

"No," I clarified and gave him my directions.

"How are you enjoying your job?" He asked.

"It was okay," I answered, "my model was late, but the shoot went well."

Kylian rolled his eyes, giggled and said, "I already explained."

"Who said your the model?" I asked, "I could have had more than one shoot."

"Fair enough," he answered.

Then I loudly whispered to Louis, "It's him."

This caused him to laugh and Kylian to be annoyed. But there was a smile there.

*phone rings*

"Oui? (Yes?)" Kylian picks up his phone.

"Mais qui? (But how?)" he asked.

"Que suis-je censé faire entre-temps? (What am I supposed to do in the meantime?)" he asked, frustrated on the phone.

"Peu importe, mec (Whatever, dude,)he said and hung up.

"Everything alright, sir?" Louis calmly asked.

Kylian took a deep breath and answered, "Ethan has a bunch of friends over at my house and asked for me not to come back now."

Although I didn't 100% like him, I felt terrible for him, so I said, "You can come to stay at my house,"

"Really?" He asked, surprised.

"Yes," I answered, "Béatrice has an event this afternoon, so I'll be alone for the most part."

He took a moment to answer, so Louis jumped in and said, "I think it's a great idea."

"Thanks for the offer," he said.

"It's the least I can do," I replied.

"We are here," Louis said.

"Thanks, Louis," he told him, "I'll call you when Ethan is done."

"No problem," he replied, "enjoy yourselves."

"Bye, Louis," I said.

We both hopped out of the car and ran inside the building, hoping we weren't noticed. We went upstairs and arrived in an empty apartment.

"Make yourself at home," I said.

"Thanks," he replied and immediately threw him onto the couch.

"You must be exhausted," I said.

"Extremely," he responded as I handed him a water bottle from the fridge, then sat on the couch chair next to it.

"This is why I never followed a career in sports," I said, "I couldn't imagine doing what you guys do; that's why I just watch and admire."

"Yeah, it's exhausting, but I love it," he said, "especially when I win."

"Trust me, I've noticed," I said, and we both giggled.

We talked about the sport a bit more, and he shared a lot of his opinions and ambitions with me.

"Champion's League," he said, "is what I need to win with PSG right now."

"I think you will," I said, "eventually, the odds are certainly in your favour; I mean, you have some of the best players ever, Ney, Messi, Sergio."

"Me," he interrupted me to add.

I giggled and said, "sure."

"Wow, you really don't like me," he said.

"No, it's just that you confuse me," I said sincerely, "one moment you're really nice, and then you aren't."

"Yeah, I'm sorry about that," he told me as he looked down.

"Can I ask you a question?" I asked.

"Yeah," he said.

"You don't have to answer if you don't want to. Why couldn't you just go to your girlfriend?" I asked.

He sat up straight on the couch, took a deep breath and said, "we broke up, for like the 3rd time."

"I'm sorry, Kylian," I lamented.

"It's okay," he said and put his hands on face for a second, "our careers are taking us different places; maybe it's for good this time and the best."

I felt sorry for him, so I stood up, sat beside him, hugged him and said, "it's okay, I know you'll be fine."

I pulled away a moment later, but I was stopped from going further because he held my hand and said, "thank you."

"My pleasure," I replied as we stared deep into each other's eyes until the door opening grabbed our attention.

"Hello!" Béatrice yelled and did a double-take as she saw Kylian.

"Hey," he said to her.

"Hi, B," I said, and before she closed the door, Thilo came in.

He quickly greeted Kylian, and they both sat on the couch talking, then B pulled me to the side to understand what was going on. I told her everything from the shoot to the fact that he needed a place to stay for a while.

"That's really cute," she said, "you guys are becoming friends."

"I guess you can say that, but he is Ney's friend, and so he is mine too."

"Whatever helps you sleep at night," she said and giggled.

We spent a bit of the afternoon chatting, and before long, both of the guys went home. I told her about my first day of work, and she said to me about her event and date.

"I have to ask," B said, "is Kylian single?"

"Apparently," I answered, "he and his girlfriend broke up for the 3rd time."

"That's sad," she said, "I wonder why."

"Me too," I said l, "but for now, I need to sleep. I have work tomorrow."

"Alright, bye!"
