The sun hit my curtain bringing in warmth, waking me up in the best way possible. I got up and got ready for the day. I had breakfast with my mom and we went out to walk about the area.

It was a rare occasion to have the day so bright, and it felt amazing. We walked past the park I would spend a lot of time in. We stopped by the shops hoping to find something to wear today.

My mom's go-to brand in the UK is Stella McCartney. A dear friend of hers and she had worked with the brand on multiple occasions.

We walked into the store and were immediately greeted by the sales associates who knew us for a very long time.

"Y/n!" One of them shouted and rushed to hug me.

"Olivia!" I replied with the same energy.

"So good to see you," she said during the hug, then pulled away, "how's Paris? Am I closer to working in your luxury store?"

I giggled and wasn't ready to talk about all those things so I said, "definitely."

"Amazing!" She said and then whispered "Are French boys as good as I think?"

I let out a laugh and my mom cleared her throat. Olivia composed herself and asked my mom what she was looking for today.

The afternoon was composed of us trying on different outfits until my mom landed on a cream jumpsuit with amazing details and I chose a neon yellow belted mini dress with puffy sleeves.

Then we went by the gallery so my mom could sort out the last few details with my aunt. I got the chance to see where I would spend more of my weekends and where I had met the most talented people.

The gallery was set up bright with the lights hitting each frame remarkably. I watched as my mom arranged her work in a matter that seemed to fit her vision. It was honestly good to see.

Soon after, I left them and went home to get ready for dinner with Marcus and Jesse. I put on my dress and did my make up.

*phone rings*

I pick up and say, "Hello, Rashford."

"Hey, Y/n," he said, "I wanted to let you know that we just got to the restaurant."

"Alright," I replied, "what's it called again?"

"Rosso Restaurant," he answered.

"Uhh amazing choice," I said, "I'll be there in 10 minutes."

"See you soon," he said.

I hung up, grabbed my clutch and went downstairs to catch myself a cab to the restaurant.

The restaurant was in an area full of energy, there were cars all over and people walking all around. We arrived at the restaurant and the exterior of an old building with beautiful detailing as well as many photographers. I bet they saw the guys coming in.

I jumped out of the cab and have to fight my way to the restaurant. This would be a great time to be famous or have security.

I made it in and was greeted by the host.

"Good evening, do you have a reservation?" He asked.

"Hey," I replied, "I'm joining some friends."

"What's the name?" He asked.

"Marcus Rashford," I answered.

He immediately looked up from his book confused and asked, "are you sure?"

"Yes," I answered, "my name is Y/n, feel free to ask."

He walked away, still confused and went to ask. As I waited by his station, I heard someone call my name. I turned around to see Jesse with a blonde by his side.

"Y/n!" He greeted me with a hug, "very nice to see you! This is Jena, my girlfriend."

"Very nice to see you too," I said and hugged Jena, "nice to meet you."

"Likewise," she said.

"Why are you here and not on the table?" He asked.

"Because, unlike you, I'm not famous and they have to make sure I'm not a crazy fan," I answered.

Jesse let out a laugh and the host came back and greeted them.

"Right this way," he said to us all.

He guided us up to a table, through the elegant restaurant, till we got to an area. The table had a few faces I could recognize anywhere.

"Hey, guys," Marcus announced and stood up to go greet all.

"I hope you don't mind," he said to me, "I invited some friends to dinner and gallery."

It was basically a few of his Manchester United squad, from Jadon Sancho, Diogo Dalot, Bruno Fernandes and some of his friends. If I was dreaming I didn't want to wake up.

"I, I don't mind at all," I said all bright-eyed.

He giggled and said, "let me introduce you to the guys."

I met them and sat down at the table next to Marcus and Jena. They were all very lovely and instantly made me feel so welcomed.

"Cheers, to the first of many visits from our Parisian Manchester native," Jesse said in his toast.

"Cheers!" Everyone shouted before clinking our glasses.

"What are you doing in Paris anyway?" Diogo asked.

"Well, my parents moved there for work," I explained, "I've studied there and was working up until recently."

"Where would you rather stay?" Sancho asked.

I took a moment and I honestly couldn't decide, so I said, "I don't know."

"Wow, Kylian made you love Paris more than home like that?" Jesse asked.

I laughed and Sancho asked confused, "Kylian Mbappe?"

"Yes, her boyfriend," Marcus clarified.

"Really?!" Sancho and Diogo asked at the same time.

"Yes," I giggled.

"Wow," Diogo expressed, "that's interesting. So why'd you come back?"

"It's been a while since I've been home plus, Marcus and Jesse missed me too much," I said and they giggled.

"Maybe, just a bit," Marcus said, as he stared deep into my eyes.

"Your meal," the waiter announced, as he and his colleagues dropped various dishes on the table.

The food was remarkable and the conversation was even better. Jena and I hit it off.

"So you're from LA?" I asked.

"Yes," she said, "I had a brand deal and a boyfriend to see here."

"How do you guys deal with the distance, if you don't mind me asking," I said respectfully.

"Well," she said, "it isn't easy, but we have to trust each other, be honest and love each other. With that, we can do it all."

"That's fantastic," I said.

"Are you thinking of coming back to Manchester?" She asked.

"I'm not sure," I answered, "I'm still thinking of how I'll build my brand and all that."

"Why not do it here?" She asked, "it's not the fashion capital of the world, but who says you can't make it that?"

Her words sank deep and it actually got me thinking of the possibility of actually moving to a simple place where there are no troubles, I'm a fresh face in the fashion industry here and why not enhance my city.

Until it hit me, Kylian, my friends and my parents.

"We should get going, right?" Marcus asked me.

"Yes," I said, snapping myself out of it.

We headed out and made our way to the gallery in separate cars. This is an interesting evening so far.
