No matter where we are, I will never get tired of waking up next to him. Even if I'm upset or worried, all my trouble melt the moment he gives me that forehead kiss and with his arm around me.
"How'd you sleep?" He asked me with raspy voice.
"Okay, you?" I asked.
"I did too," he said, "still thinking about Charles?"
Last night after the call, I felt confused and honestly didn't really get to enjoy the rest of the dinner. They all picked up on it but didn't talk about it so we'd keep the peace. After they left, I told Kylian, and eased my mind for the night.
"A bit," I replied, "but that doesn't matter, because today is your big game."
He let a sigh and said, "yeah."
"Nervous?" I asked.
"It's a huge game," he admitted.
"I know, but you got this," I said as I held his hand, "and I'll be cheering you every step of the way."
He pulled me in closer till I was laying on his chest in his embrace and whispered, "thank you, for everything."
"Always," I responded, "even if I'm mad."
We both giggled and proceeded to talk for 20 minutes before getting out of bed and getting ready for the day.
After breakfast, he left for practice and I stayed behind waiting for B and Bruna yo come over.
*phone rings*
It's Maria Chiuri, what would she want with me?
I picked up and answered, "hello?"
"Yes, Y/n, how are you?" She asked.
"I'm okay, and how are you?" I asked confused.
"I'm good," she replied, "look, I called you myself to apologize. Charles told me everything and I am sorry I didn't listen to you. You were always a phenomenal addition to the team and I would like to offer you your position back."
"Wait, what?" I asked. I couldn't hear her, it seemed like she was walking around a lot of people.
"I'll send you the contract to your email," she said, "sign it and get back to me."
"But Maria..."
"Ciao," she said and continued to have a conversation with people before hanging up.
Wow, Charles actually did it.
Instead of focusing on that, I spent the rest of the day with B and Bruna, going around Manchester. We went shopping at some stores and have lunch at Cloud 23 where we took in beautiful city vibes of Manchester despite the weather.
