CATHERA
We've gone through multiple rooms but still, Klaire failed to find what we're looking for. She's the one Tygron and we're both counting on because she said she knew the place.
We were in another room. A long dark corridor of grey cobblestone walls and two torches holding weak light to the place, one on each end of the corridor where there were doors. The corridor had a T-section that led to the main hall of the library, the place where we came from
"We're not gonna be able to find it," I whispered losing hope, looking down on the ground but still tailing the two in front as we kept on sneaking.
"No..." Klaire said looking at me and then away. "Just keep holding it together. We're gonna find it," She then looked left and right as we arrived at a three-way junction and then went to the right.
"We've already been gone through every hole of this place. They probably have already got hold of it," Tygron whispered just looking straight at where we were heading.
"I doubt that..." Klaire again denied "Eric of Stenbrough was not something that would put such a valuable artifact in just a simple bookshelf. My mother told me of how he was good at hiding such things, especially at his dungeon."
"Your mother?" Tygron asked. Klaire didn't answer or look at him just kept on sneaking forward. We continued sneaking around, silently.
Then we heard a yell. "Growe!... report to me," the big guy with the middle-aged lady probably and...
Lisergio Growe is here as in Sergei. Why would he be here?
"Sergei's here. Probably also searching for it," I whispered to the two. The two glanced at me before looking back at the direction we were going.
"Good thinking," Tygron replied then switched ways from what Klaire was going at, towards where he thought Sergei was.
"What are you doing?" Klaire asked as he saw Tygron switch paths.
"Just trust me on this one," Tygron said and we just followed him, with Klaire somehow grumbling. "Do you know another exit of the place?" He asked Klaire.
TYGRON
We exited through some secret door in the east of the building and here we are, outside the building.
"Stay here," I whispered, holding out my hand towards us as all of us stopped crouching down.
"What? Why?" Cathera whispered back.
"Just do as I say," I said before leaving them, going towards the main road and exiting the alleys.
I continued walking around until I heard the indistinct voice of a woman and a man chatting from afar. Gotten by curiosity, I went following where that voice was coming from.
"Maybe they went somewhere," I heard Shayne commenting as I was about to turn left with the intersection of the alleys, I almost bumped into her in surprise
Shayne and Sergei appeared out of nowhere.
"Tygron," Sergei exclaimed, behind Shayne, tilting his body to see me across Shayne's neck.
"Cathera's brother," Shayne said as she saw me, looking up at me as I towered right in front of her.
"What... uhh What are you doing here?" Sergei asked putting his hands on his sides, flattening the unruly sides of his coat.
