CATHERA
It feels painful. My whole body.
Has the sun already risen? Time has passed on is all that I can say.
I laid my head on the wall while I lurked in the corner of the room. My head feels so heavy. The ringing in my ears is so loud and I can hear my heartbeat on my temple and my neck. It feels like it was about the burst.
There was a conversation heard from the outside of the room. I looked up, observing the upper parts of the room to see ventilation holes. It was the vent conversation that was echoing from, the other side of the prison from where I sat.
"After all of the efforts to capture you, it is a good thing that the new kingship has led this new place for you to be in," said the huge masculine voice. It is the same one as the guy who spoke me to earlier. There were no replies.
I made an effort to try to hear everything even if I was going weak. I crawled to rest my head on the opposite corner of the room to hear the conversation properly. As I laid my head on the wall, their voices became clearer.
"For the last time, I will ask you. What are your intentions? Why are you here?" the huge man continued.
"I know you already recognized that I was coming for you yet you were still nearby. You haven't even chosen to leave the country. Perhaps there is something finished that you want to do" he spoke, continuing to investigate.
"What is it?" he sincerely asked.
"What would happen then if I tell you?" replied a voice of a woman. That voice seems familiar.
"My right hand, I haven't seen him for quite a while now even if he was supposed to be stuck with me. Do you have any particular idea?" the big guy asked again.
"Your partner. The... the sweet-looking one with the lazy face?" she asked him, with a devious tone. Sweet-looking one with the lazy face... Sergei? He looks something like that.
"Never thought it'd be possible for heretics to take quite the liking towards Hunters. Quite of the avant-garde side, isn't she?" the big guy joked.
Chuckling of men followed with the joke, gradually stopping.
My head suddenly ached. It felt like it was about to crack open. It feels like my body is burning too, stung. I felt a strong surge of pain flowing from my stomach to my head making me look down on the ground.
Something dark was dripping to the ground, on the damp cobblestone floor. I tapped my nose and noticed blood was coming out of it. I wiped it off, rubbing it in a single direction a few times.
I observed the blood in the appendage of my thumb. It was clotting unusually and quickly. I also noticed the veins and arteries in my hand glowing stronger with a pulse. Though not bright enough to be seen under sunlight.
Observing it, another surge of pain rang throughout my head and heart making me hold my chest, gripping the cloth in pain. I glided my palm across it sideways, futile, trying to massage the pain.
My eyesight flashed brightly in a split second and the cobblestone ground which I was staring at started to move. I looked around and noticed even the ceiling, the huge iron door, and the vent began moving too, moving like they were dancing in front of me.
