There was something mesmerizing about rains. Something soothing, peaceful and refreshing. I could see it was still dark outside with a tinge of light peeping through the clouds.
It was 4:30 am according to my phone.
The pool looked so tempting with the raindrops falling in a rhythm, that I could go dive into it again.
I felt a light shiver running down my spine as Mahen's gentle touch sent chills all over me. I could feel the quilt slipping away from my back as his lips touched my waistline. He kissed all the way up and hugged me from behind whispering into my ears, "Pitter patter raindrops, falling from the sky, here is my umbrella, to keep us safe and dry."
I laughed moving closer to him still trying hard to fall asleep. His fingers teased my nipples as he kissed me hard. Not that I was going to object.
I broke the kiss and whispered over his mouth, "When the rain is over, and the sun begins to glow, little flowers start to bud – "
"– and grow and grow and grow."
My eyes closed as he captured my lips in a soft brush. The urgency was still there travelling through my veins in wild sensations. He was getting hard, the tip of his erection suddenly poking over my vagina. "Go on!" I said between the kisses and he slowly sank in making me arch up. I moaned as he thrust deeper and faster. Rocking me hard against the headboard. My nails dig into his back and his lips left my mouth to find my weakest spot right at the junction of my neck and shoulder. Biting hard. And as I screamed he released inside me. Before he could move away, I quickly wrapped my hands around and pressed him down as if to prevent him from leaving.
When finally the morning sun was shining brightly I didn't feel like getting out of bed, not even after a strong cup of fine coffee and not even after Lofa's missed calls. I knew the important event was going to happen the day after, so there was nothing to hurry. My team was well armed to handle the ceremonies in my absence.
"You have been staring at the pool for at least an hour now!" Mahen said sitting down beside me on another beach chair.
I threw my head back and took a deep breath, "I feel at peace here."
"Well, I can sort that out if you think of moving in with me!"
"No!" I curtly added and stood up. He fell back laughing, as his attempt to irritate me again with a live-in relation talk was successfully pulled off.
I would be lying if I said I didn't like that idea but my mother would boycott me if I even mentioned a live-in relation, and if she comes to know the name of the boy I am almost having a live-in with, she might start thinking of becoming a hermit. My father would not protest, not on my decision to enter a live-in relation and neither to my mother's of becoming a hermit!
Picturing my parents debating at our drawing-room as I break the news of moving in with Mahen I went to take a shower. In the worst-case scenario, my mother might just beat me up with a broom.
At around ten o'clock we went for breakfast. Not the posh grand buffet at the resort, but rather a more authentic version of a Thai breakfast. "I was hoping to check out the floating market but then I remembered it will take an entire day to reach and come back!"
"There's a floating breakfast here at a boutique hotel, in case you want to check it out?" Mahen asked as we strolled down the beach towards a small roadside eatery.
