"Stop worrying Deepa!" Chitra yelled. It did feel strange to visit Koushik's house now that they were married but it was still the same. The only difference in Koushik's bedroom was that with multiple makeup items and dresses scattered around, it now looked more Chitra's than his.

"For the thirteenth time Chitra please keep them at one place!" Rai pointed at about seven shades of lipsticks spread across the bed.

"Don't tell me, tell this girl to stop shaking and let me concentrate on her lipstick shade. The indo-western gown Mahesweta has lovingly gifted her has a peculiar colour between golden and wine."

"I could just do with a nude shade you know!" I was breathing in and out. My feet were getting cold while my hands were sweating badly.

Rai did narrate to us a plan of trapping Shekhar by showing Mahen the footage but I was scared of what might happen later. The kind of patience Mahen has now he might just tear Shekhar apart. And then there was Ishan and a team of Thailand police who had somehow managed to speak with the ministers here to track Dipayan Ray as well.

"You do not even want to know how furious Madam D'Souza is!" Elora and Sanjana came rushing into the room.

"Wow!" We were clearly a bit stunned to see Elora. After almost two decades she had finally worn a saree. "You look spectacular Elora!" I said. At least for a few minutes talking with them might take my head off Shekhar.

"Well! Has to be. She is going with the notorious Karan Bajaj of course!" Sanjana whistled. Elora blushed looking away but before we could launch a teasing battalion at her she snapped her fingers towards me. "It's not about me tonight, it's about you!"

I stood up ignoring Chitra's complaint and stomped my food on Koushik's favourite rug. "I am tired of getting all the attention!" I cried folding my hands over my chest.

"Ah, just for tonight, and then we focus on Elora," Rai said like a declaration.

"Me? What-what to-to focus on me?" Elora's sudden panic surely indicated there was definitely something fishy between her and Karan. However, Rai simply ignored her. "So Sanjana why is Madam D'Souza our so-called poised and calm principal suddenly furious?"

"Oh, yes that. Actually, we told her what Carmen did and since she and all the teachers always adored her, it took them time to digest but once the information sink in Madam D'Souza has ordered to remove her name from the notable alumni list."

My eyes widened. "She did what!" That must have been the biggest blow. First, our school was one of the most prestigious missionary English mediums in the city and the alumni list was the most celebrated and highest honour a student could get. Being there and now getting removed, that certainly was bigger than any punishment.

"And I believe there would be quite some name that would be removed after tonight's reunion!" Rai grinned.

"Rai, what exactly is your hidden plan? Because I am certain you haven't included us in the entire planning," Elora eyed her.

"That is exactly my question too!" Now I was starting to get suspicious as well. She was definitely hiding something.

"What's going on Rai? And why did you send Sanjana to speak with D'Souza?" Chitra held her hand but I knew it was a futile attempt, getting Rai to speak if she didn't want to talk was absolutely impossible.

"All ready to go?" Koushik peeped through the door.

"Sometimes I feel sorry for you Kush darling, you have become a guest in your own bedroom!" Rai chuckled.

"Rai, don't get me started. Now come on, all of you, we have been downstairs for almost an eternity now!" he shouted.

"Stop being so dramatic!" Chitra rolled her eyes.
