The lamias all remained asleep, all comfortable for some reason, being that there was luggage around them. This didn't seem to bother them, though, as they had found some comfortably weird positions. Even Polaris was in a weird position, he was like a pretzel at this point.
A rough shaking moved the group, although Raven was the only one who was awoken by it. She looked up at Elly, seeing that she was still asleep. Raven carefully wiggled off of Elly's paws and climbed down, landing softly on the ground. She slithered out from under the tarp and luggage, looking around in the dark room.
She slithered around the room to see what caused the rough shaking of the ship, her ears pinning back in concern as to what might happen. "It must've been a wave.... n-nothing more, right?" The nervous lamia thought to herself as she looked around slithering.
She sniffed around, not getting any new or odd smells in. The sound of something falling scared Raven and she turned around very quickly, only to see it was a bag with some large yellow tarp thing inside it. She could barely make out what the bag said, but she could barely read the word "Inflata" before the rest of it went under the bag. Sniffing it, she got the smell of rubber and a faint smell of pines. Raven decided to ignore it and slither away, looking around curiously.
As she kept slithering, she noticed some light coming from a window. "Wouldn't hurt to look.." she said, climbing up the pile of suitcases that lay under it. She curled on the suitcase, pressing her tiny paws on the window.
She smiled at the view, flicking her ears a bit. She had never seen the ocean before, and of course due to this, Raven had every right to be amazed and curious about the huge blue sea. "The others would love this!" She thought to herself, jumping off the box and running back to her still sleeping pack, not knowing that there will be yet another shaking of the ship.
Only this time, it's not gonna leave the huge vehicle unharmed.
As soon as Raven was hidden among the luggage, she gently pawed at Lunar's nose. The large King Cobra stirred awake, looking at the smallest lamia. "What d'ya need, lil' one?" She managed to ask, and Raven slithered to the 'exit' of the hideout. "C'mon, Lunar! Let's look at the huge sea from the window!" Raven whisper-yelled, running to where the suitcases were. Lunar followed closely, lightly smiling at Raven's innocent energy.
Before she knew it, Raven was already at the top of the suitcase pile and looking at her. She tapped the window with her paws, looking back and forth from Lunar to the ocean outside. "Look! Look!" Lunar looked, and Raven instantly stared outside with a happy smile. "Isn't it pretty, Lunar?" Raven asked, and Lunar only nodded. She opened her mouth to say something, until the ship shook in a much rougher way. The force was so strong it threw the two lamias to the ground, even some of the largest boxes slid forward. Lunar picked Raven up and held her close, her pupils turned thin at the sudden action. "W-what was tha-"
The redbelly was cut off by a loud alarm that started to ring out loudly. Raven covered her small and sensitive ears, while Lunar pressed hers against her head as she ran back to where the rest of the group was at. They all met up in a few minutes, but they were all very startled and confused.
"What in the hell was that?!" Jason yelled out, looking around in panic. Polaris was about to ask almoat the same question when he had caught a scent, and he started sniffing the air. He walked to where the front of the ship would be, and he immediately froze. His fur stood on end and his tail went in between his legs. "Uhhhh...... g-guys...." Elly ran forward and looked at where Polaris was standing at, and she instantly grabbed the husky and ran back to the group. Henry started to get more concerned, and he looked at the boa as she ran back to them. "E-Elly wh-"
"We have got to get off this ship NOW!!!"
Before CC could ask what was happening, a loud explosion went off at where Elly and Polaris looked at. They all flinched at the sudden explosion, and even Lunar got surprised.
"Oh..... FUCK. NO!!" James screamed, having seen something in the water. Lunar squinted her eyes, and she instantly widened them.
"WHY IN THE FUCK IS THERE A SUBMARINE?!" She angrily yelled, backing up and looking around. They all then heard some male yelling out, but it was in a language they have not heard before. "G-guys....." Bitzen stuttered, starting to shake as he backed up. "I-I th-thi-think that submarine is hi-hijacked..."
Just as he said this, the submarine had fired another torpedo, because it had crashed against the ship and shook it violently. Heavy footsteps were heard, and then a door slamming open. "Lamias!! Pup!!" The group whipped their heads to the direction of the voice, which belonged to Tyroh, the butcher. "I need to get you all to safety!! Come closer!"
They all got closer to him, and he instantly explained something to them. "Look, where I will send you all is a place that no human being has ever heard of before. Here's what you will have to do!" He began to tell them, holding his hands out. Almost after 2 seconds his palms started glowing a bright blue light, catching the group off guard.
"First you will need to venture through the Titan Tree Jungle! DO NOT trust any creature there, for it will lure you to a trap!"
A blue ring casted around them, and Tyroh's eyes began to glow a blue light. "Next you will have to travel to the Midnight Swamp!! And find the Lake of the Rising Moon!"
"Lake of the Rising Moon? How will we know wh-" Raven started to think, but was cut off by the group and herself being caught in a super bright light.
Tyroh smiled gently at them, being about finished with the magic. "You will finally have to find her..." Elly looked at him, confused as to what he means. "W-what do you mean?! Who's "her", and how wi-"
"She will tell you once you meet her... now..." as the light faded, so did the group along with them.
A faint group of explosions were heard, but over that, they all could hear Tyroh say one last thing.
"May the moon guide you"
