Bringing Sage home

Sage is 2 days old and Jay and Hailey are bringing him home
J=hey y'all ready to meet your baby brother
The triplets=yeah!!!
H=okay now be gentle
Myah=he's so adorable! I love him
After the triplets were done looking and touching the baby Caroline and Noah came to see him
Ca=hey buddy you're so cute
N=sup little man
That night the kids were asleep
It's 2 am
H=why won't he go to sleep
She looked at the blue eyed baby in the bassinet
J=I don't know he doesn't look very tired
Hailey picked him up and later him in the bed in between her and Jay
H=maybe he will go to sleep here
J=maybe
The baby did not go to sleep he stayed awake just looking around. For two hours.
Finally he went to sleep so Hailey gently picked him up and placed him in the bassinet.
An hours later he started crying
Hailey go to get him
J=it's okay babe I can get him
H=thanks
J=he needs a diaper change
Jay walks to grab a diaper
Sage was not happy because the worst thing in the world to him was getting his diaper changed
J=it's okay buddy calm down
Sage didn't stop crying until Jay picked him back up
J=you're okay
Jay kissed him on the forehead and walked laced him in the bassinet
J=I love you little man go back to sleep
A couple weeks later
Jay was returning to work
J=are you gonna be okay
H=yeah I mean you're taking the kids to school so it'll just be me and Sage
J=alright call me if you need anything
H=I will
Jay kissed Sage's forehead
J=love you buddy
Then he kissed Hailey
J=I love you too
H=love you be safe
J=always
A couple hours later
Sage was not a happy baby he was tired but was fighting sleep
(Sage crying)
H=I know you're tired baby but you need to take a nap you will feel much better when you do
By the time Jay and the kids got home Hailey was exhausted
J=had a rough day
H=yeah Sage is fighting sleep and been crying the whole day
J=why don't you go to sleep and get some rest I will get the triplets and Sage ready for bed
H=are you sure
J=im positive
H=oh you're the best
Hailey laid down in bed and almost immediately fell asleep
J=Caroline
Ca=sir
J=will you please come watch Sage while I help the triplets wash
Ca=sure
J=thanks
Jay walked to get the triplets
J=y'all ready to wash
Jesse=yeah
Jake=yeah
J=okay so do boys want to go first or Tatum(Tatum no longer bathed with the boys)
Tatum=I want to go first
Jesse=no we want to go first
J=okay listen since Tatum usually doesn't take as long as y'all then she can go first
Jake=but daddy
J=I said Tatum is going first
Jay and Tatum walked in the bathroom
J=okay feel that water and see if it feels good to you
Tatum=yea it does
J=ok hop in
Tatum=daddy
J=yeah
Tatum=what's wrong with mommy
J=what do you mean
Tatum=tonight sir didn't look happy
J= well baby she was tired your little brother was not being a good baby today
Tatum=oh are you going to punish him
J=well he's a little too young to punish
Tatum=I love Sage
J=I'm glad you do because I love you and him so much
Tatum=do you love me more than you love Jesse and Jake
Jay laughs
J=I love all of you the same
Tatum=why
J=because you're all my kids and I would do anything for you
Tatum=but why don't you have a favorite child
J=why do you ask so many questions
After Jay got Tatum out he brushed her hair and put her pjs on
J=okay boys get in
Jesse=this water is cold
Jake=you gave us Tatum leftover bath water
Jesse=that's not fair
J=fine let me unplug the drain and run more water
He ran the water
J=do y'all like that
Jesse=it's fine
Jake=yep
They go to get in
J=nope
Jesse=what's wrong
J=both of you need to go pee before you get in this bath water so you don't pee in the bath tub
Jake=fine
They both went over to the toilet to pee
Jesse=okay can we get in now
J=sure
They got in
They boys played games the whole time
J=all right time to get out
Jesse=please daddy
J=I have to wash Sage as well so get out
Jake=fine
Jay dried them off and put their underwear on as they refused to wear anything besides just underwear
Jay tucked them in and kissed them goodnight then he walked into Caroline's room
J=alright thank you for watching him
Ca=he's fine as long as he had that little dumb cartoon on
Jay took him
J=alright you ready to get clean
Sage started making babbling sounds
Jay got him out and went to dry him off and put his diaper on
J=now listen try to go to sleep tonight and don't be bad tomorrow okay
He laid Sage into the bassinet and Sage was so tired from screaming all day he fell asleep quickly. Jay laid down he looked over and saw Hailey still sound a sleep
