"Wake up, Zephyrine time to wake up," a lovely voice woke me. I kept my eyes closed in hope to be carried into a warm bed. I heard a loud sigh before warm arms wrapped around my body. He lifted me out of the car and cradled me to his chest. He grunted and a bag sounded like it was thrown. Talon was now only holding me with one arm. Something was being dragged behind us. I began feeling bad because he seemed to struggle so I opened my eyes. He looked down at me and glared."How long have you been awake?" He asked.

"Not long," I whispered snuggling into his chest. "Are you having issues?" I asked generally worried.

"Nope not at all," he said walking towards the door. I smiled and laughed. He made it to the door and frowned.

"Do you need a hand?" I asked holding my hand out.

"Yes I do actually," He admitted. I reached my hand forward and opened the door. He walked inside and dropped my backpack. I smiled and wrapped my arms around his neck. He carried me to his room and set me gently on the bed. I smiled at Talon as he placed my suitcase in his walk in closet. The room was forest green and his bedding was brown and he had dark brown almost black flooring. I laid back in the bed and let out a loud yawn.

"We should play a game," I stated simply. Talon looked at me like I was crazy. I gave him a soft glare and made sure he knew I was serious.

"Okay what game are we playing?" He gave in.

"I ask a question about you, you ask a question about me," I replied. He nodded and waited for me to start. "What is your favorite color?"

"Dark green what about you?" He replied swiftly.

"Navy blue," I smirked at his surpirsed face.

"Okay umm whats your favorite food?" He questioned.

"I would have to say speghetti and you?"

"Grilled cheese and bacon."

"Do you want kid?" I asked simply out of curiousity. I always wanted kids. I wanted a little girl who would be smart and brave, and possibly a boy too.

"Yes I would love to have kids only if you want to though," he gave me a wide smile.

"Don't worry I want kids!" I exclaimed. He leaned in and locked eyes with me. His deep brown eyes bore into mine like he wanted to see if I was serious. I leaned in too and closed my eyes, he pressed his lips to mine. I pulled away a large smile on my face.

"That was.." Talon started

"AMAZING!" I exclaimed a large smile on my face.

"I know we just met but I already love you," Talon whispered.

"I love you too," I said back meaning it with all my heart. "What time is it?" I asked my ADHD getting in the way of the lovely moment.

"Twelve in the morning," Talon chuckled. I let out a large yawn and rested my head on his chest. His arms twisted around my waist and our legs intertwined. I closed my eyes and drifted off into a sweet peaceful sleep.

"Wakey wakey time for breakfast," I groaned and rolled over. Sadly I misjudged the distance between me and the floor.

"Are you okay?" Talon asked sliding off the bed and sitting next to me.

"Yes I am fine," I grumbled. He nodded and stood up. He helped me up and pulled me into a hug. I walked over to my suitcase and unzipped it. I rummaged around and pulled out a flowery skirt and a black t-shirt. I took my clothing to the bathroom and pulled it on. I smiled into the mirror and left the bathroom. I grabbed a pair of nude peep toe pumps and slid them onto my feet. I walked towards Talon who was sitting at a small desk in the corner of his room. I walked up behind him and placed my hands on his shoulders and leaned over his shoulder. I scanned over the papers quickly before losing interest. I rubbed his tense shoudlers and he relaxed.

"Lets go eat breakfast," he said closing the file on the desk.

"Do you do all your work in there?" I asked as we walked down the long hallway towards the stairs.

"No I have an office beside our room but I prefer to do my work in our room where nobody can find me," he clarified. I nodded and grabbed his hand. He gave me a tight smile as we continued our way down the stairs.

"What's wrong?" I asked noticing his sudden quietness.

"I don't want to tell you," he choked. He looked at me with tears in his eyes. I had never seen an Alpha like this before.

"Will you ever tell me?" I whispered upset.

"Yes just not right now," He mumbled. I nodded and placed my hand on his arm. We made it down the stairs and he showed me towards the kitchen. Once in the kitchen he started making us eggs. I sat on the bar stool and watched him work. His strong muscles in his back tightened as I stared at him. "Okay I have to tell you I can't do this, I have to tell you," he whispered turning around. Talon turned the stove off and sat in front of me. I looked at him and waited for him to continue. "There is a large war going on in Black Lake land the rogues are taking over and once they take over there they are going to start working on taking over other pack lands. I have started sending men to help them and if it escalates I am going to have to go over there and help fight," He finished. I nodded my head and stood up from the table. I walked over towards him and wrapped my arms around his shoulders and cried. I cried harder then I have ever cried. Talon wrapped his arms around me and just held me.

"Ho-how long do you think it will b-be tell you have to leave?" I stuttered through the hardest sentence ever.

"The earliest a month the latest four months," he whispered into my hair. I nodded my head and moved back to my seat. He placed a cold egg in front of me. We both slowly ate our eggs quietly. I placed my plate in the sink softly and sat back down. Talon stood up and dropped his plate in the sink and made his way over to me. I grabed his hand and he pulled me up the stairs the room beside our room. His office.
