He paced back and forth by himself in the hallway, letting his thoughts cloud his mind. Ever since Lazuli's breakdown, he couldn't focus on anything else. Was she going to be okay? What about the children? He didn't care what happened to him, he wanted his family to be safe. He wanted Lazuli to live, and their children. If he was to die, he'd accept fate. He just wanted his family alive.

Please, don't let anything happen to them, he thought to himself.

He saw J'onn exiting the Med Bay some minutes later. As the door parted, he caught a brief glimpse of Lazuli laying motionless on one of the beds before the door closed. He approached the Martian. "Is she okay??" Goldwath asked.

The Martian answered in his usual monotone voice, "She is weak, and she is in shock, but she will be okay."

"A-And the children?"

"There is nothing wrong with them. They should be fine."

The last part felt more of a speculation than actual fact to Goldwath (since it didn't help the Martian was always void of emotions), but he took it to heart; what mattered most right now is that Lazuli and the unborn kids were ok. He sighed. "Thank you, J'onn, thank you so much," he said.

The Martian just stared. "If you wish to see her, go on ahead." He nodded towards the direction of the Med Bay. "I will be back with her once I tell the King and Queen on her condition."

Just like that, without another word, the Martian left. Leaving Goldwath alone.

Did he want to see her right now, he had thought to himself as he watched the Martian somberly leave. He looked back towards the Med Bay, heart racing. He wanted to, so deep down. He reached out, hesitating, before backing away and shaking his head.

Not yet, he thought. No, I think it would be best if her parents were to visit and comfort her first before I visit. For now, I should leave her to rest.

Besides, the Thanagarian had other things to deal with. He could visit her afterwards. Blinking, he turned away and followed the same direction J'onn headed off to.

"We cannot allow the Rebels to roam free any longer. We have to devise a plan. It's most likely Dazzling Hawk had some minor involvement with this coup through Suizul."

The League were gathered together with the King and Queen. They began discussing the situation in Atlantis and linking it to the Zealot Rebels. Goldwath looked to Ultramine, watching his intent face absorb all the information being told to him; despite what the Thanagarian told him, Ultramine hadn't gone to visit his daughter; thought he greatly appreciated Goldwath's generosity and offer, he instead felt it was more his duty to help the League help him. Goldwath was surprised at this sudden change in the King, but he could tell he was deeply worried for his daughter. He promised later that he would visit her.

The King raised his ears at the mention of Suizul, his eyes wide. "Suizul....? The traitor's alive?"

Aquamarine also turned to Goldwath curiously. Her ears, pricked, were twitching.

"You knew him?" Goldwath asked the King.

Ultramine shot a confused look at the Thanagarian. "Well, yes. 25 years ago, when I was still Prince, he and some other Atlanteans had kidnapped my father and mother, the King and Queen before us, and held them hostage in the surface world. He wanted to make a deal with me: give up the throne to him and he would release my parents. Of course, justice was dealt with, and he and the others were thrown into prison for treason where he was watched over by our guards. We never could be able to kill him, so we decided his sentence to be life. All was fine until some years later. When Lazuli was 12 years old, he had escaped. We never caught him by how fast he fled. However, he had broken his tail during the escape process, so we had assumed he didn't make it far. I guess I was wrong..."
