A/N
So, I figured these next few chapters or something would be better in third person so, I'll let you guys know when it's back in JJ or Jaz's POV. (I like writing better in 3rd person so yay)

"Jaz? Jazlyn? C'mon, Jaz. Get up, please." The blonde sobbed , "Kie!"

The Carrera Girl stood frozen, still looking at the Routledge boy.

"Kiara!"

She finally snapped her head towards him, "Kie, I- I don't think she's breathing."

"I-"

"She's not breathing, Kie, help me!" He cried out.

"I,I don't know, JJ! Check, check her pulse." She ran over to him looking over the girls body, his hand in hers.

"I, I can feel something."

"That's good, JJ. She's gonna be okay." She desperately tried to reassure the sobbing boy.

Pope came running back, "Pope?"

"They're two minutes out-"

His words were cut out by the sight. His best friend and his bestest friend, both lying limp.

"Jaz?" He mumbled under his breath.

"She's, she's gonna be okay, right, Pope?" The blonde boy looked up to his best friend, with tears streaming down his face.

He had never seen the boy cry, he never wanted to, knowing it would have to be so devastating.

"You're gonna be okay Jazlyn. Please, please. Just hold on." JJ sniffled.

~~~
"I spoke with Sheriff Peterkin and...I've offered to be you and Jazyln's legal guardian, if you'll both have me." Ward expressed once the boy settled back in.
The boy lightly chuckled, "What?"
"It'd mean a roof over you and your sister's head. No more runnin' from the DCS. You wouldn't have to hide that from your sister anymore."
John B looked toward Sarah as she smiled. It took him a second, "Sure, yeah. Uh...sounds good."
"Okay then, it's settled." Ward smiled.
"I just, I just don't think it would take Jaz a little bit to really move in. She's really uh, bad at change, it might take her a second."
"Fine by me. As long as you both are safe." He patted his shoulder, "welcome to the family."
~~~

The girl's eyes slowly, but surely opened, a little while after her brother's.

"Jaz?" JJ's back straightened at the sight of her gaining her conciseness again. He had been resting his head in his arms, leaning on a side of her bed.

"J?" She groaned, Her voice still raspy, "Is JB okay?"

"Better than you are." He sighed, flashing a small smile.

"What happened?" She tried to readjust her position, wincing in the process.

"Careful, don't break your other arm." He chuckled, but soon tensed to the thought of the situation, "fucking Topper pushed you and JB off Hawk's nest. They said you broke your left forearm, have a grade four concussion, and dislocated your left shoulder."
