Part 7 - Still descending

Ben POV

"Relax, Crybaby, I was just kidding," She said laughing
I gave her a little punch in the shoulder, just saying that ''don't do that. Please."

''Why'd you do that?"

"What can't I have a little fun?"

"I mean, you were crying just over a minute ago".

"Anyhow, let's sleep

"Ok"

before leaving the room, Erica did something.
She kissed me.

For the 3rd time, she had kissed me, first time at Operation snow bunny, then at the emperor of the seas and, now in the plane. It doesn't sound that big, but 3 kisses from the Ice queen is like 3 wishes from a genie. Rare. I moved away after 10 seconds. And then I saw someone down the hall, I went down the hall to see and I saw Catherine. She had been spying on us the whole time.

"Catherine! What're You doing?"

"uh-hmm"

"You were spying on us weren't you."

Catherine nodded up and down, signaling that she indeed was spying on me and Erica

"don't tell it to anyone else. please."

Catherine nodded again and went to her and alexander's room to sleep, I went to the couch to sleep too.

I woke up right at 5 30, it seemed that Zoe was already awake, pacing around the lounge while mike was sleeping like a baby.

"Oh good morning Ben"
"Hi"

I went to check on the others, Catherine was already up while alexander was sleeping and Erica was sleeping like a baby, I decided to "prank" her

I looked in the mini fridge and I found the perfect thing.
Cold bottled water
I poured them in a Plastic wrap bag and then I came to Erica's room without making a noise and I approached her and I poured the water on her
she immediately jumped on me and judo flipped me.

"Owwwwww"

"Ben, you serious?"

"What I can't a little fun now? I said a little embarrassed as I was starting to get on my feet.

"get ready, its almost 5 45 and we're gonna touchdown at 0600 hours, I said

Erica nodded approvingly and told me to get out of her room.

I packed all my stuff and waited for the plane to get down, Mike, Zoe, Alexander, and Catherine were with me.

As soon as we touched down the door rolled out and let us out of the plane when...

a part of the plane blew up

it was exactly the place where Erica's room was.

"NO NO NO NOT THIS" I yelled as I ran to the place where Erica's room was.

I jumped down the smoking remain of Erica's room and started searching through the rubble, Mike and Zoe also helped me.
It had taken me a fair few minutes to find her.

Her eyes were closed, She had a few scratches here and there but she had a huge cut in her lower left leg.

I started to sob a bit seeing that Erica might have just died.

I, Mike, and Zoe picked her body and immediately went to the car. "GO TO THE NEAREST HOSPITAL! AND GO QUICK" I yelled to alexander, he was driving

I looked around everyone and everyone was crying. Alexander and Catherine were trying their best not to cry while Mike and Zoe became calm, though I did see both of them shedding tears.
I wasn't at a good place since Erica had probably died, I figured out there was a 20% chance she was alive and I was willing to take it.

We were miles away from the nearest hospital so that just lowered the chance of Erica surviving up to 16.53% and I had heard that Indian hospitals weren't as good as the rest of the world so I figured all and all there was only a 9.23% chance she would survive, started to sob as though I lost all hope. I had been rollercoaster emotions on this mission, At first, I was happy that Erica kissed me But now I was crying like a baby because she died.

Don't cry ben it's better not to

Ben. just cry its no problem, your gf just died so it's ok too.

NO, Do NOT cry.

"Ben, why are you crying? and why am I sitting on your lap?" Erica whispered.
"ERICA!" I yelled with excitement , she had not died but merely passed out for a few minutes.

"Do you feel numb anywhere?" I asked her with concern

"No but HOLY $H!T WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?"

Erica POV (sorry i hadn't moved pov's for a while)

I woke up , seeing Ben, Zoe and Mike cry while i had whimpering from the other side.
I looked around my surroundings , i was in a car , most presumably a car from the CIA. I could already tell that we were in india , seeing billboards written in a language that looks close to hindi.

Ben, why are you crying? and why am I sitting on your lap? " I said.

"ERICA!" he yelled with excitement, a few moments before he was absolutely tearing up , but now he was as if a 7 year old got a playstation, Zoe and Mike was the same too.                              "Do you feel numb anywhere?" Ben asked me with serious concern in his eyes. They looked as though i just said "i like daisies".

"No but HOLY SHIT WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?" I asked as i had just saw the serious damage done to my lower left leg. there was a huge cut, as though someone had cut my leg with a knife. and small little red dots all around my body

"Darling , please don't swear" Mom said , trying to calm me down, as though what i can see she had been crying before but now had lightened up.

"I know mom but LOOK AT HOW BIG THAT THING IS" I exclaimed

"Dont worry its only a cut, not a gun wound or something, and we're going to a hospital already"
Ben said calmly

"How did i end up getting wounded anyways? And why are we going to the hospital"

"You don't know?

"No, I don't"

"Well , you nearly died in a explosion so we explored the rubble and found your body. It looked like you were dead but we had hope so we started going to the hospital. That's when you woke up."

"Im sorry but did i almost die?"

"Yeah , you were passed out for like 20 minutes."
"And you were buried under rubble for at least 10 minutes."
                                                                                                                                                                                                        "So wait , all of you thought i was dead and cried?" I snickered at the last part , seeing that everyone turned their guard down.

"Yeah we did."
                                                                                                                                                                                                        I thought for a while after that and then i figured out something incredibly amazing.                        

"I have a plan to bring down spyder and the croatoan once and for all..."
