A loud buzz echoed through the walls and I heard the faint creaking sound, followed by footsteps. I got up from the cold floor, and headed towards my door.

I couldn't see anything, there wasn't even enough space in the keyhole to watch so I pressed my ear against the door.

On the other side, I heard the footsteps falter and what sound like two voices arguing with on another.

"Which one should get get?" A voice asked. I wasn't entirely sure but I think it belonged to Jeff.

"Whichever one is easier to handle." This voice belonged to Kal-Cairo. I still couldn't believe it. He really fooled me into thinking he was a victim. I wasn't afraid of him though or Johanna for that.

"Both are equally bad. The red, blue head, whatever, her hair colour changed so much I stopped paying attention-she nearly bit me. I would've ended up just like Ed on the plane."

"Well, do you have the tranquilliser?" Cairo inquired.

Jeff chuckled, "No. But I snuck some into her food. She's probably knocked out."

Cairo sighed. "In your dreams. I have a needle, pin her to the ground and I'll jab her." I clenched my jaw and my hands formed into fists. Was he really that stupid enough to think that he could hurt me again? I was prepared this time. At least he was wise enough to know that I wouldn't eat the provisions.

I peeled myself away from the door and tiptoed back into the cot and slipped under the sheets. The metal plate they'd given me their jail food in was placed against the wall, on top of the bedside table, which was giving me the perfect view of the door.

I heard multiple beeps from the other sighed and the door buzzed loudly.

My breaths I started taking were heavier to show that I was sound asleep. Johanna must've known that I would try to get creative and use whatever I could find to get myself out of this hell hole because nothing- absolutely nothing here could be used to crack a head or two open.

The dishes they gave me for the food were either plastic or paper plates- except for the metal plate and the cup, probably to taunt me. You can't really use those for any damage.

I immediately placed my gaze on the metal plate and watched Jeff put a finger over his mouth and both of them quietly moved towards me. They may be thinking that they would be able to take my by surprise but sometimes the person you plan on surprising can instead, surprise you.

The bed creaked a bit, and I felt it sinking to the corner as the new weight was added.

I watched as Jeff hesitated for a second and then muttered something along the lines of how this wasn't worth leaving McDonalds. He pulled the sheet away carefully, revealing my back and Cairo moved closer and I watched him put out the needle from his jacket and right when he was going to inject it into me and right when I was about to punch him square in the face, a guest decided to join us.

"Don't. Drop the needle now." Both of them looked back and I squinted into the metal plate. For a second, just a split second, I thought I was being saved and I really wanted to kick myself for having that hope.

"Alaska, we can either do this the hard way, or, the easier way. Hard they, you three badly get injured and I inject you or, you get up and follow me. Okay?"

"Uh, she's asleep. We just came in and saw he-"

"She's an actress you idiot." Johanna snapped at him.

I pulled the sheets off and got up from the cot to face her. Both Cairo and Jeff looked as if they had been seconds away from getting chewed by me...which was true I suppose.
