Louis went to the cafeteria before class to grab something to eat.

I had my hood up.

I plugged my headphones into my phone.

It was first period and we were listening to the daily announcements.

Louis comes walks quietly and sits right next to me as the announcements start playing.

"welcome back students happy Monday!! The talent show is 3 months away come down on March 25th for the talent show!! hope to see you all there in the auditorium"

Talent show.

I totally forgot about that. Whatever I literally don't have any motivation to do anything.

Mr. Howard passed around worksheets then the phone rings.

a couple of minutes passes by and in the corner of my eye, I see him walking towards me.

shit.

what did I do?

"Y/n principal Lawrence would like to see you in his office" he announces to the whole class.

Why would he broadcast it to the whole classroom?

I begin to pick up my backpack and Louis turns to me and says "good luck y/n"

"ha-ha" I chuckled sarcastically.

As I walked into his office I quickly put down my hood and shoved my headphones into the side pocket of my backpack.

I knocked on Principal Lawrence's door.

"come in," he said.

"hi, you wanted to see me?"

"yes I do please sit down"

"I have a huge favor to ask you, I know the talent show is 3 months away but, Can you perform at the talent show?"

I took a deep breath.

"uh I'm not really sure Mr. Larwence"

"Please perform I know you are a well know singer and everyone loves your music" he begs.

"yeah I guess I can"

"that's great thank you so much!"
