"did you see tmz's Instagram post," I tell Timothee running down the stairs

"no I didn't let me see" he replied

he took a sip of his coffee while I handed him my phone to show the Instagram post.

"damn, it's funny to see what they actually think happened," he says

"How did we not see anyone take a photo of us?" I tell him grabbing my car keys.

"Can I borrow your car today?" he asks

"um well I have to go to school"

"ill drop you off and pick you up. please?" he begs.

"Okay fine but we have to go now I'm going to be late."

"have a good day ill see you later," Timothee says while I get out of the car

I smile and wave to him.

"hey y/n" jade comes up running to me.

"hi," I reply.

"How are you holding up?" she asks.

"it's getting better" I smile.

genuinely.

"is it because Timothee is staying over?" she sides-eye me as we get to the cafe before first period.

"of course not" I blurt back.

I am the worst liar.

"yeah right y/n I know you. you don't need to lie, it's okay. If I were you I would be more than excited if a guy like him is temporarily living in my house" she reacts.

"ok fine maybe I'm a little happy he's back" I whisper.

Finn comes to the table.

"Are you guys going to Kami's party Saturday?" Finn asks.

"I mean I wasn't invited so no" jade says

"I don't want to go to a party and see Louis and kami suck on each other's faces, so I'll pass," I said.

as I finish my sentence Louis comes and sits next to me.

"so what are you guys talking about," he says

"kami's party"Finn replies

"it's an open invite so invite who guys want" Louis smiles and nods.

"Can we talk after school?" Louis says to me.

oh no.

am I thinking about the same thing that he's thinking?
