26th of March, Saturday, 1977

"Miss Russo. I told you that you needn't come in today. Even you deserve to take a break once in a while, especially on your birthday of all days."

Andrea smiled at her Headmaster. "But then I wouldn't get to see your shining smile," she joked. Dumbledore let a small smile show. "If you're here, would you like us to continue where we left off?"

Andrea bit the inside of her cheek, missing her lollipop as she got nervous. She shook her head slowly. "No, Dumbledore. If it's all right. I just had a question for you today."

Dumbledore leaned forward, his curiosity spiked. "Go ahead, Miss Russo. Any questions you want to ask, I'm willing to answer."

She took up the seat in front of his desk, feeling small in front of his tall desk and the throne-like chair he was seated in.

"I was wondering... You're a very powerful wizard." Dumbledore chuckled. "Is that a question or a statement? Whichever it is, I'm very flattered."

Andrea smiled. "What I mean is, you're a very powerful wizard, even outside of this school. And I was wondering, do you have any plans for what is going on with the War?"

Dumbledore leaned back, holding her eye steadily. "War?"

Andrea shrugged. "That's what the Prophet is calling it. A Wizarding War between those who believe in blood purity and those who fight for justice of all living beings, magical or Muggle."

"Yes, I remember reading something along those lines," Dumbledore nodded slowly. Andrea moved forwards in her seat, resting her folded arms on the desk.

"Well, I was wondering, someone like you must have a plan. And we were wondering, or... I was wondering... is there anything for us to do when we finish school. Something to do to help."

Dumbledore didn't say anything for a minute, and Andrea felt she needed to fill the silence.

"You say my powers are good and most witches don't possess them. I feel like I need to do something good with that power. Help where I can. I want to help, wherever it is possible, while in school or after if that's more appropriate."

Dumbledore cleared his throat and stood from his chair. He rounded the desk and leaned against it, right next to her.

"Andrea, let me tell you about the Order of the Phoenix."

"Bambs, what are you doing?" James managed to get out between kisses.

Andrea laughed to herself and pulled him along down the hallway, heading for his dorm. "I'm just happy, Prongsy. What's wrong with that?"

James let himself be dragged into his dorm before Andrea pinned him against the door, continuing her attack of kisses on him. "I'm assuming the meeting with Dumbledore went well," he mumbled, gripping onto her waist tightly.
