27th of May, Friday, 1977
With the day off classes, the regular Saturday Quidditch match had moved to Friday, giving the students a longer weekend.
Andrea stood next to Sirius in the mirror, both of them trying to do their hair in front of the other. "Why'd they change to Quidditch matches being so early?" Sirius questioned, stealing some of Andrea's hair oil. She took it off him with a pout, applying some to her own hair before giving it back to him.
"I think the professors noticed how much it interfered with exam time and saw how much the players prioritized Quidditch over studying. This is better, though, cause now we've got time for both," she smiled.
After a beat of silence between the two, they both froze when they heard a long moan coming from the boy's dorm outside the open bathroom door. Andrea and Sirius shared a look, neither wanting to go help the pitiful James.
In the dorm, Remus tried to ignore James but his pain became harder and harder to block out. Remus looked over the top of his book, taking pity on James as he sat on top of his closed trunk, rocking back and forth as he held his head in his hands.
"How are we possibly going to win this one?" James sighed to himself. Ravenclaw had 100 points on Gryffindor after their match against Hufflepuff and they needed a big win to get that trophy.
Remus assumed the question was rhetorical but took it upon himself to answer anyways. "Now I know I'm no Quidditch expert," he started, slowly closing his book. "But probably by scoring more points than the other team."
James lifted his head, dropped his hands with an exasperated sigh and glared at Remus. "Get out," he demanded, pointing to the door.
"Sirius! Your turn!" Remus called out heading for the door. Peter got up and quickly followed him, happy someone was finally going to breakfast. Sirius groaned and left the bathroom, going to cheer up James. "How do you cheer up a reindeer?" he grumbled to Andrea.
"We could trick a dog into eating his worm meds again," she grinned, finishing up with brushing her hair. She tied it loosely back, ready for Mary to braid it.
Sirius snorted and left the bathroom, but quickly returned as he realized what Andrea said. "Say what now?!"
Andrea's jaw fell open. "I thought they told you!"
"They? Who is they? Surely not my Remus he would never do anything to hurt me." Andrea winced. "Actually, it was his idea." "Course it was, this reeks of Remus."
"What's that?" Andrea pointed to the corner and Sirius fell for it, looking away. Andrea took the opportunity and ducked under Sirius' arm clutching the doorframe, running to safety. James looked up again as the blur of Andrea running off past him. Sirius quickly followed, ready to make her pay for their prank.
