After a stop at the kitchens and a quick trip into Hogsmeade, the five Gryffindors were settled in the Common Room, trying to come up with something fun to do before their fifth year ended.

Andrea ran her hands absentmindedly through James' messy hair, watching the dark strands shine from the candlelight on the end-table next to her. He was lying between her legs, head resting on her middle as he slept.

Gently, she leaned forward and placed a soft kiss on the top of his head. She turned quickly as a flash went off beside her. She blinked several times, the bright light setting her off a bit, until her eyes landed on a grinning Peter lowering his camera.

They were spread out over the couches by the fire, Prefect Remus scaring off a couple of second years who had previously occupied them.

"We could flood the third floor," Sirius suggested, throwing his trusty tennis ball against the wall. "They'll make us clean it up ourselves," Peter mumbled around a bite of his Sugar Quill.

"Prank the Slytherins?" Remus said half-heartedly, eyes closed as he lay stretched out on the carpet next to Sirius. "Everyone's in bed!" Sirius moaned, throwing his tennis ball onto Remus stomach.

"So are we supposed to be," Peter chuckled back. As they all fell silent for a minute, Andrea quickly shot up into a sitting position, causing James to move as well. He stirred slightly but didn't wake up.

"That's it! Beds!" she cheered happily.

All the boys turned to her with funny looks, not following her train of thought. "You want us to go to bed?" Peter asked, scratching his head.

"No, silly," Andrea chuckled as if it were obvious. Seeing the still sleeping James, she nudged him, a bit aggressively, finally waking him.

James sprung up quickly, looking around in alarm. "Down, Prongs. No one threatening the forest today," Remus mocked his deer-like behaviour.

"It's after curfew, so if we get caught out of bed, we'll get in trouble. However, if we go out, still in bed, no one can punish us," she said gleefully.

Remus started banging his head repeatedly on the carpet under him, his eyes closed in frustration.

"We just finished our never ending library punishment and you all want to start something again already? Why not go to bed early, so we're well rested for tomorrow's train ride?" he grumbled harshly.

Andrea untangled herself from James and approached the grumpy werewolf. She stood over him and ungracefully sat down on top of his chest.

"Moony, sooner or later, we're gonna leave Hogwarts and go off to the real world. Become adults. Get jobs and be responsible. And the only thing left within these castle walls is going to be our legacy. The stories of our adventures. Let's leave the biggest mark we can, making sure no one will ever forget the Marauders that used to roam these halls."
