(Beth's P.O.V.)

I woke up and remembered I was in a wooden cage, suspended from a tree.

I saw a few Lost Boys coming and smiled.

"Ah, here come the lovely gentlemen who put me up here," I said. "Come to check on me? Don't worry, I'm fine. Totally comfortable."

Then they started bringing down my cage.

"How's your day been?" I asked.

You should first off know, I'm extremely sarcastic.

"Time to meet Pan," the tall one with the scar said, gesturing to the guy next to him. He smiled at me through the bars of my cage.

"Sure thing, Scarface," I said, "But I think I'd seem like more of a lady if I could stand."

Pan chuckled, and said "Alright, let her out, Felix."

Felix unlocked the cage and opened the door. He extended and hand and I said, "Oh, why thank you, kind sir," every word just soaked in sarcasm. Then I grabbed his hand and gripped it as hard as I could.

"OW!" Felix shouted and pulled away.

  Pan laughed again.

"Sorry," I said. "I have a bit of a grip."

I stepped out of the cage and Pan smirked. "Wait, you're Pan?" I asked, then laughed. "Well, this is a bit of a let down. You aren't nearly as evil looking as I was expecting."

Pan raised his eyebrows and said, "Well, gee, you've got a thing or two to learn about manners, Brown Eyes."

"Yes, and you have a thing or two to learn about first impressions," I said. "Lesson one, locking a girl in a cage overnight is not a good one."

He looked at me for a second, then laughed again.

"I like you," he said. "You've got fire. And that fire might just have saved your life."

"Lucky me," I said, leaning on my hip and folding my arms.

"How old are you? Fifteen?" he asked.

  "Yup," I replied.

He smiled, then asked, "Very brave for your age. What's your name?"

"Wouldn't you like to know?" I asked with a smirk.

He look at me then looked to Felix and said, "You were right."

"Aw, you told him about me?" I asked sarcastically, smiling. "I'm so touched," I added, placing a hand over my heart.

"Why? We mainly said you were stubborn and annoying," one boy said. I looked at him.

"Sarcasm is a foreign language to you, isn't it?" I said.

"So what is your name?" Pan asked. "I'll get you to tell me eventually. Try to make it easier on yourself."

I laughed. "It's funny how you think you have power over me," I said, still giggling.

Pan raised an eyebrow at me and smirked. "Okay, how about I ask nicely?"

  "That may work," I said.

"Can you tell me your name?" he asked.

"What's the magic word?" I asked, cupping a hand around my ear.

Pan shot me an annoyed smirk and said, "Please."

I laughed and said, "Beth. My name's Beth."

  "Beth," he repeated, then smiled.
