(Peter's P.O.V.)

"Beth," I repeated, and smiled. I had to repeat it. I've heard that name thousands of times and never thought anything of it. In fact, I thought it to be sort of plain. But it just suited her so well, and suddenly it sounded so beautiful.

"Suits you," I told her. "Pretty."

"Well, you need a pretty name to match a pretty face," she joked, gesturing to her face. I smirked.

"Well, a cage is no place for a lady this brave to stay," I said. "She'll stay with us at the camp."

  "But-" Felix started.

I raised my eyebrows at him, a silent way of saying, I'm sorry, what was that?

  He quickly looked down.

"Now be polite to our new Lost Girl," I said, gesturing to Beth.

"Ooh, I like that," Beth said. " 'Lost Girl.' It has a nice ring to it, don't you think?" she asked the guy next to her, and lightly elbowed him. He didn't respond.

"Somebody's butt-hurt," she mumbled, pointing a thumb at him.

I smiled, but really I was trying not to explode with laughter. I didn't know why, but she was really funny to me.

"Let's move out," she said, the pointed forward and walked past all of us down the path.

"Where are you going?" I asked, then turned to look at her.

  "To camp," she said.

  "Which is where?" I asked.

"Don't look at me, you're Peter Pan, you should know where your own camp is," she said, shaking her head.

"No, I know where--" I started, then just stopped, shook my head and smiled. "Follow me," I said, and walked ahead of her.

Occasionally I would look back and she'd be spinning, or skipping. Then I turned and she wasn't there.

"Hullo," she said on the other side of me and I jumped. She giggled and I huffed.

  "That wasn't funny," I said.

"Yes, it was, you should've seen your face," she giggled again, pointing at me.

I grabbed her wrist and she raised her eyebrows at me.

"Jeez," she said, then spun her arm around and smacked my wrist really hard. I involuntarily let go. "Touchy," she said, and kept walking next to me.

About ten minutes later she yelled, "Stop!"

  "What?!" I yelled, on defense.

  "I'm tired," she whined.

I relaxed, then raised an eyebrow at her.

"Do you need to take a break?" I asked. "'Cause, we're almost there."

She sighed really loudly, then said, "Nah, I'll live. I think."

Then we were started walking again, she jumped on my back and I nearly fell.

"Mush!" she yelled. I laughed and said, "Are you serious?"

"Well, can't you fly?" she asked.

"If I have pixie dust," he said.

"But I thought you have enough that it kind of molded into your skin or something," she said.

"I have no idea what you're talking about," I said.
