Remus, Sirius, Harry, Draco and I go back to Remus' classroom to talk about what comes next. Harry tried refusing that Draco doesn't come but I made it clear that he's coming with us. Remus agreed that it's okay because he's related.
I have a feeling Potter will be a pain in the ass for a long time. He really doesn't like Draco, and apparently not me too.
At least Remus seems to be on my side about Draco though. Thank Merlin for that. I don't know where I'd be without him at this point.
Now we're all sitting here in Remus' room in complete silence. No one knows where to start. Remus probably wants to talk to Sirius about how he didn't believe him for a long time. I don't think they're going to be talking about that in front of us. They'll wait for us to leave to have that conversation.
Fine, if no one will start the conversation we need to have, I suppose I will.
"Someone might as well start this conversation, so I guess I will. What happens now?"
Remus let's out a sigh, then looks over to me and smiles. "I should've known you'd be the first one to speak," he says to me. "We have a lot to work out here."
"I know," I reply.
"I want you to know that I'm going to find a place for us to live. I do have a family home but I'm not sure if that's somewhere I'd want to live." Sirius says to... me? Our maybe Harry? Or maybe both of us? Hard to tell.
"Alright, we can live wherever. It doesn't matter to me where we live dad... as long as we're together," I say to him. He smiles at me happily.
"That's my girl," he says. Then he sighs. "I don't know how long it'll take me to... get everything sorted out so you two may need to find somewhere to stay for the summer."
You two...
"So it'll be the three of us?" I ask dad. He nods his head as a response.
"I'm Harry's godfather." Sirius responds to me.
I nod my head in understanding.
Just great.
"You three should get back to your common rooms before curfew is up. We can continue this tomorrow at breakfast." Remus says. "We don't want you to get in trouble for staying out past curfew."
I look helplessly to my father. I don't want to be separated from him right now. He looks at me and I just know he understands what my expression is saying.
"We will meet at breakfast kid. Don't you worry, I'm not going anywhere, I promise." Sirius says to me.
"I-"
"There's no point in arguing kiddo," Remus says to me softly. "We will see you three in the morning."
I sigh, "okay... I'll see you two in the morning."
I stand up and get ready to leave the room when someone stands up behind me. I'm guessing it's Draco following me out but then whoever it is grabs my arm. Draco wouldn't grab my arm.
I turn around and see that it was my father that got up. He looks at me seriously for a moment and then pulls me in for a hug.
"I promise you I'll be here when you wake up tomorrow. I'll be waiting for you so the two of us can have breakfast, okay?" He says to me, kissing my forehead.
"I don't want to leave you dad," I mumble quietly so no one else can hear me. "I just got you back."
"Because of you being smart, we have plenty of time to get to know each other." Dad says to me. "Go and get some rest, kid."
