By the time Sirius and Remus left, I was in a state of confusion. My entire world flipped again. How is it that my uncle is actually my father? How was I so wrong about all of this? I knew I felt connected to Regulus, but I thought it was more because we were a lot alike. I always thought Sirius was my father.
It makes sense that Regulus is my father but spending your entire life thinking one person is something to you, only to find out they aren't... that's going to take a minute to get over.
At least the good news is, both of my parents are still alive... I might even be able to meet them.
Draco, Enzo and Narcissa are waiting for me to react now that we're alone. They're waiting for me to do something, or say something. I don't know what I'm supposed to say. I don't know what I'm supposed to feel? Sad? Angry?
I guess I just feel numb.
"That was a lot of information to take in at once, and I think I need a nap now." I say to them.
Draco and Enzo shake their heads and give each other this look, Narcissa just stares at me with worry and Theo snorts.
"I'm always down for a nap," Theo adds. Trying to break the tension is definitely what he's good at, and I appreciate that about him. I notice out of the corner of my eyes, Draco nods to Enzo and then Enzo clears his throat.
"How about the four of us go up stairs and just hangout for a bit?" Enzo suggests, but I can tell there's something going on.
"Sure, that sounds like a good idea." Narcissa agrees. Draco and Enzo smirk to each other. Oh, there's definitely something going on here.
I slide off of the chair and glance over to Theo questioningly but he's no help. He just shrugs his shoulders and motions for me to follow them.
I follow them all the way to Draco's room and once we're in, they close the door and throw up a silencing charm so Narcissa can't hear us.
Draco goes to his bed and sits down, smirking at the guys who clearly know what's going on. Looks like it's just me out of the loop.
"What's going on?" I ask them. Draco just nods to Enzo who disappears behind the door. He returns with a bottle of fire whisky and the guys are watching me for my reaction.
"Uh- Narcissa is down stairs.."
"Yeah, and she doesn't care. You don't want to know how many-" Enzo began but Draco cut him off.
"Anyway- my mother is pretty chill and you have had a day where you might need this." Draco says to me. "It'll be fun, I promise."
"Okay," I say. Giving into them was pretty easy since I want to do it. I just wasn't sure because of Narcissa. "Let's do it then."
Enzo hands me the bottle wide eyed and they watch as I take a big swig.
"She's going to regret that," Theo mutters and as soon as he says it I feel it burn all the way down.
"You guys could've at least gotten good stuff."
"Hey! This is all we have!!" Enzo says, sounding rather offended. It must've been his choice of drink.
I hold out the bottle to them. "Who's next?" Theo smirks and takes it from me.
We continue to pass it around and talk about everything for about an hour. I start to feel really happy and light. Like everything that's going on is just not important anymore.
An hour later, Enzo has now started dancing around the room, and even though there isn't any music, he's not bad. A little- clumsy but not bad.
Draco is laying on the bed with his head on the bottom of the bed. He's watching Enzo dance around.
