"And she just left?" Elena yelled. her hands were deep in a corroded soil mixing two seeds into one.
"She has my gift. And she knows how I got it. She needs to be found, I know." Aklin paced behind her, his electricity flickered in and out of the air.
"Stop with the muttering and fumbling. Your bolts will fuck up my plants and your poision wont be as leathal." She spat at him, her black hair frizzed at the electricity in the air.
"I understand of course." He left the room, heading out to the front of the shop to avoid his lover's wrath.
The outside world had changed around the hero. The streets were always baren now, no life besides the cries of children. Teenagers began to rummage around in the shadows to avoid the adults. In change the adults had grown more hostile and vile.
They used any means to torment the children of the town, their eyes a green hue as they lumbered around, their actions drowsy and inhuman. The few adults that remained normal were those closest to the hero, and those whose deepest desires are able to override that of the gems hold.
"I'm the hero. I'm god." He screamed out into the open air. His eyes glowed as the electricity exploded from him, grouping into the sky. He shot into the sky riding on the electrical waves as he reached higher and higher into the atmosphere.
Soon the sky grew darker, his eyes turned blue as he tilted back and began to grow in speed as he excelled back to the ground. The air around him exploded as he reached back into the lowest layer of the sky. The air whipped around his hair and brushed his face.
As he grew closer to the ground everything slowed down. The time froze and everything held still. The wind grew silent in Aklin's ears as he calmed down. The electricity stopped and soon the wind returned, just as he reached the ground.
