The two men on the floor jumped with how dark the voice was. It was their old friends voice, but demented, twisted. Logan shivered with how hostile it was, he was used to the hostility in Aklin's tone, but this was worse.

"Aklin stop this." Byrin called out, he stood on the steps just in front of the map.

The minotaur had joined him at his side to view over the decayed room, he could smell the electricity burning skin. He stood tall behind his best friend looking over the area, he could hear the footsteps, the light taps and subtle leaps.

"Hello old friends. I see you lived." Aklin finally revealed himself from the far end of the hall. His electricity grew around his body as he grew closer.

In turn Byrin slowly started to separate, the magma on his body broke apart the charred limbs. Soon his arms detached from his wrists as he grew furious.

"Hello Traitor, I see the greed formed to you well." Bryin spat at the man.

"I see death greeted you with an axe." Aklin returned the greeting with flames.

"Boys, stop it. Aklin, what are you doing?" Logan finally cut in, he was tired. This ordeal was an overlooming one that beat the hell out of his health.

"Hello dear, I see you were greeted with a new body in death." Aklin flirted as if Logan knew nothing about the affair.

"Cut the shit Aklin, I know about the affair. I saw you leave us in the building. We wouldn't look like this if you hadn't been a greedy stuck up pretentious asshole." Logan fumed.

"I see Byrin got it into your head I'm a spiteful, vindictive man. Oh dear come here I would never cheat on you."

"Byrin didn't tell me shit." Logan rebutted, he could see the man in question separating and boiling.

"And I sure as hell didn't see you that day. I could only see him, I watched him turn, and then I watched him be buried. While you ran out laughing like a lunatic." The tone in the man's voice was harsh, gurgled by the magma separating his limbs.

In an act to hold Byrin away from Aklin, Logan reached down and took his hand in his own. The taller man used his body to anchor his friend, to keep Byrin from losing himself like Aklin had. The action brought comfort to the angered man, his body slowly started to reform.

"You've grown soft Byrin, what happened to the ragefull sprite." Aklin gloated.

"I gained morality, unlike you." His old friend disagreed, he had almost fully returned to a human shape.

"I do hope you get your comeuppance, I'll need a story of course when I return to the village. I was attacked by two wild beasts, horrid and hostile beyond comparison. I won, of course."

"Not if I can help it, big bro."
