carnival (pt 2)

Adelaide walked into the carnival feeling a million bucks. People were looking at her from left to right, checking her out. Some even coming up to her and telling her how great she looked, boosting her ego and making her feel on top of the world. This is how she should be feeling, not cooped up in her room depressed over a boy.
She missed that boy though..

"Adelaide!" her thoughts her interrupted by someone screaming in her ear and jumping on her back startling her.
Looking behind her she noticed it was Maddy and Cassie.
"Holy fuck, you guys look amazing," Adelaide yelled in some sort of trance looking at the two.
They both giggled and pulled Adelaide in a tight hug.
"Are you fucking kidding? You look even better, give us a spin, bitch!" Maddy yelled taking Adelaides hand and spinning her around making the girls fall into a fit of giggles again.

"Shit guys, how are you both feeling?" Adelaide asked linking her arms with their own.

"Awful" the two girls said at the same time making Adelaide laugh.
"Yo why?" She asked them.

"Boy troubles, McKay is being a jerk and well Nate is also being a jerk." Cassie answered with a sour look on her face.

"Felt that one." Adelaide replied looking around and then spotting someone who she wasn't sure looked frightened or relieved she was standing there.

Rue was standing with Lexi and.. Jules. Not surprised Adelaide didn't give Rue time to say anything before she turned her body around and dragged Cassie and Maddy with her.

"Girls, i've got an idea," she said when they were out of Rues sight "You wanna go see Molly?" She asked smiling.

Last time Adelaide took Molly it was actually kind of a fucked situation, waking up in a random boys dorm room who was at least 3 years older than her and then having to find a way home was scary. She would never say anything but she didn't remember anything that night, she knew she had sex with the boy though because he told her she was the best lay he'd ever had. Maybe Adelaide would of been flattered if she wasn't having an anxiety attack and on the verge of throwing up.

Cassies and Maddie looked at each other before nodding their heads in sync. The two girls where basically the same person, it freaked Adelaide out. Maybe that's how people viewed her and Rue.. back when they were talking. Adelaide felt herself begin to grow sad again and started to walk towards the food trucks.

"Look, you gotta talk to Fez without me. He ain't gonna sell me drugs." Adelaide said nervously.

"Why not?" Cassie said curiously making Maddy turn to glare at her.

Adelaide looked at Maddy shaking her head, basically telling her it was all good.

"He basically told me to fuck off last night and that he didn't want to see me again so.." Adelaide told Cassie playing her her fingers.

"Oh! What a cunt." Cassie said.

As the girls went to talk to Fezco, Adelaide began to grow more anxious and the more anxious she got the more mad she got. She wasn't going to let a fucking guy ruin her night, so as Cassie and Maddy returned they all made their way to "Pretzel Mania"

"Welcome to Pretzel Mania, can I take your order.. Oh what's up Ad?" Ashtray said.

"Hi Ash," Adelaide greeted smiling at the boy, at least he was still nice to her

"How many pretzels do you want?" Ashtray asked.

"We don't eat carbs!" Maddy complained making Adelaide laugh.

"Three please." Adelaide answered making Ashtray look at her suspiciously.

"Aight, that'll be 60." Ashtray said as the girls all pulled a twenty dollar note out of their bras.

As Ashtray walked off to get their orders the girls began to talk.

"So, like, what's going on with you and Nate?" Adelaide questioned Maddy.

"She thinks Nate is cheating on her, right?" Cassie said.

"I don't know. He's been acting super weird lately." Maddie explained.

"Have you gone through his phone?" Cassie started,

"I've never not gone through someone's phone." Adelaide said.

Maddy looked at the two girls smiling "Bitch, you're both my soulmates."

Ashtray eventually came back with three pretzels in his hand, the three girls took their own and yelled a thank you to Ashtray as they walked away, not before Adelaide giving him a fist pump. She loved that kid.

The girls eventually found their way to something called the "Ice Palace"

Mirrors decorated the walls making everything get kind of trippy, the drug was starting to hit Adelaide.

"So what, Fezco basically just told you to piss off?" Cassie exclaimed staring at herself in a mirror.

"Yeah basically. Oh get this! I walked in on some girl sucking his dick right before." Adelaide said giggling.

"Maybe he thought you saw his tiny dick and got all embarrassed." Maddie chimed in making the girls laugh.

He wouldn't have a tiny dick, Adelaide thought.

"Yo, I don't even know. He was acting all weird and shit the whole week. Maybe he did just get sick of me." Adelaide said.

"Honesty fuck all men," Maddy said making the two girls agree with her.

"Cause right now i'm looking at a thousand versions of myself, and not only do I look good, I feel fucking good."

Adelaide agreed with Maddy in her head, she did look fucking badass right now.

"So if they've got something to say," Maddie continued "They should just say it to my face, right?"

"Or, I mean, you could just say it to their fucking face." Adelaide said.

"Right!"

"That's what I would do. I feel like this is a turning point."

"Totally." Maddie and Cassie agreed.

"We should pick the hottest, most confident, bad bitch version of ourselves, and be that for the rest of the school year."

Adelaide hummed in agreement, circling around and continuing to stare at herself.

"I'm gonna find some guy to hook up with." Adelaide said with confidence.

"I'm done moping around because one guy doesn't want me. I can have anyone I want, so fuck him." She continued walking out with the girls.

"Fuck yeah! Go get some dick, bitch!" Maddy said encouraging the girl to walk off and start on her journey to find someone to take her mind off everything.
