I think I mentioned Adelaide had anxiety earlier on, but if I didn't, well... Adelaide had anxiety.
She never really made it a big deal, because it wasn't like it took over her life, plus other people had it worse. A couple panic attacks here and there she could live with, plus her step mom had taken her to the doctors a couple years ago when she found Adelaide on the bathroom floor having a pretty severe anxiety attack. The doctor prescribed her some sort of anxiety pill that Adelaide didn't tell me, probably afraid i'd try and steal a few... which is fair enough.
Adelaide took her medication when she remembered, which kind of defeated the point of taking medication, and Adelaide knew that. It just made her feel a bit better that on a day she was feeling extra anxious she had taken something.-
Fez was interrupted while working by a phone call. Seeing it was Adelaide immediately made him want to answer, but, he was kind of busy selling drugs to a teenager who looked like they were gonna shit themselves from how nervous they were. First time drug buyers.
When he was finished he fished his phone out of his back pocket and glanced at the notifications.
6 missed calls from Shawty
Fez was immediately concerned because normally if he didn't pick up the first time Adelaide usually waited for him to call her back.
Dialling Adelaide he waited patiently for her to pick up. No answer.
Walking out of the back Ashtray appeared in front of him.
"Don't try and call her, she already rang me and gonna pull up soon anyways" Ash said.
"Yo, she was alright" Fezco asked squinting his eyes, as the sun shone down on him.
"Ion bruh, she sound pretty scared or whatever. Something about shit that happened at school." Ash explained to Fez.
Soon enough the Adelaide had walked from the High school and to the gas station where Fez and Ashtray were standing out the front.
Running up to them she first pulled Ashtray into a hug and greeting him.
Secondly, pulling Fez in a hug and kissing his cheek.
"So, you wanna tell me why you here and not in school right now?" Fezco asked Adelaide.
On her way to the gas station Adelaide had thought about what happened only half an hour ago. Realising she probably over exaggerated the whole thing.
"Uh no reason in particular. I had a half day" Adelaide answered.
Fez and Ash both looked at each other suspicious.
"So you called me six times, for no reason?" Fez asked, wondering what this girl was up to.
"False alarm guys, don't worry." She said giggling nervously.
Adelaide was up to something and Fez was going to figure out what. Eventually.
As Ashtray walked back inside Fez pulled Adelaide in by her waist.
"You sure you good?" Fez asked quietly, enjoying having the girl he loved wrapped in his arms.
Moving her hands to the back of his neck she brought him into a kiss. Fezco wasn't expecting it but didn't shy away, kissing her back.
Adelaide wasn't sure what they were. Normally if she kissed someone by now she would of already had sex with them, and probably already blocked them on everything.
But, with Fezco it was different. She didn't want to stop whatever they were doing right now, even if he didn't have the intense feelings for her like she did for him.
She was pretty sure she liked him. Like a lot. She had never felt to drawn to a person and it scared her.
Like why was she thinking about him 24/7? It was getting annoying.
Pulling away Adelaide smiled at him grabbing his hands and interlocking there fingers.
"Wait," Adelaide started suddenly excited, remembering what she was going to ask him
"Are you going to that big Halloween party on the weekend""Yeah, might pull up.. It'd be good business." Fezco answered looking up at the girl.
Excitedly she grabbed his face and kissed him. Before Fezco could react she pulled away.
"Great! I'm going to be there too, so, like i'll see you there." Adelaide said quickly before walking away and waving at him.
She was going to find a costume, and she was going to make sure she looked good.

On Adelaides way home from Halloween shopping she noticed something familiar. Or someone familiar.
Walking on the side of the street was Rue.
Adelaide felt like she was stuck in her place. All the feelings she had pushed away about Rue had rushed back in, at full speed.
Feeling like someone was watching her Rue turned around.
And there she was. Staring right at me.
She looked at beautiful as ever, I noticed that the shopping bags she once was holding were dropped on the floor, like she got scared of something and out of fear lost her grip on them.I stared back at her, feeling overwhelmed at the intense eye contact but like I couldn't look away, even if I wanted to.
I had missed her, so fucking much.
walking up to Rue slowly without breaking eye contact, she stopped when they were only a couple feet apart.
"Hi." Rue said softly.
"Hi."
Immediately Adelaide pulled Rue into the biggest hug she had ever given a person. Rue didn't waste any time before hugging the smaller girl back, squeezing her like Adelaide might disappear if she let go.
"I'm sorry." Rue said shoving her head in Adelaides neck.
Rue was truely sorry. For ignoring her texts. For Ignoring her in person. For overall being a shitty best friend.
"It's okay. I'm sorry, too." Adelaide felt like she needed to apologise, even if she didn't do anything directly wrong, she could of done more to save there friendship.
And just like that. They were back together.
