The doorbell rang at his apartment. The boy groaned as he got up from his seat.

Tired and restless, he was drowning in his assignments and was on the verge of tearing up.

Who could it be at his front door, at 11:43 pm and not to mention on a Friday night?

He lazily dragged his feet as he went towards his front door, only to be greeted by her.

The small girl stood in front of him. Her big eyes looked up at him. She was wearing an oversize band tee and a simple pair of shorts. She must have come here in a rush.

"What do you want? Eun?" Eun his new nickname for her, he calls her that every now and then.

Not answering his question, Jieun walk straight into his apartment, welcoming herself like it was her second home.

"I'm bored" She sighed as she lie down on his sofa. "Haechan came over to our apartment and you know the drill, I can't stand hearing their moans" She bawled her eyes.

"Jake has a family dinner and Jay is out with Stella" She continues to pout. Bummed out that all her friends were booked and busy.

"Wow, Jay and Stella? He finally got it huh?" Mark asked as he closed the door and join her on the sofa. "Yea... good for him I guess" Jieun could only sigh.

"Well too bad, I'm busy too I have my lab reports to complete. So you have fun by yourself alright?" He said and patted her head before leaving her alone in the living room while he went to his room where his studies were.

Jieun sighed as she turn on the TV and scroll through the channels, at least this was better than listening to Haechan fucking the crap out of her best friend.

-

Jieun was bored. She had been sitting here on the sofa watching no brainer TV shows for a solid 2 hours now. She wanted some excitement. She wanted to have fun.

It was a Friday night, usually, she would be out hitting clubs, partying and getting drunk. But for once and the first time she was here on a couch watching TV shows on a Friday night.

What a lame-o. She thought.

It was now 2:33 am. Never too late to have some fun. And so she left the living room to visit him.

-

She knocked on the door before entering his room. His room was a mess. Clothes were everywhere, his files and paperwork were on the floor, his bed was undone and Mark himself was a mess too.

Mark had his glasses on, he was in a simple t-shirt and basketball shorts. His brows knitted together showing his seriousness. His face was full of concentration till the point where he didn't even notice her entering the room.

Men who are work driven always turned her on and to add on the fact that Mark was already insanely attractive made her want him more.

"Hey, you okay?" Jieun said softly, trying not to freak him out.

It was clear that he was stressed out from his work. He needs a break, a very much needed one.

Mark looked up to see her figure, she looked so small standing at his doorway. A small smile formed on his lips. Kinda relieved that someone came to check up on him.

Living alone wasn't the best. Especially when times get rough and you needed someone to lean on. Back then if Mark was sick, he had his brother to be there and to take care of him, but now all he has is himself.

And knowing Mark well, he would never reach out to others asking for help. He felt like that would be a burden, his friends have their lives to live too, it would only be selfish to call and ask them to come over to take care of him.
