25 - more than friends

The next morning comes in a blink when you're tired. 

Sun poured through the window in between the curtains. The warm breeze brushed through Mark's face, welcoming a new day. The boy rolled around the bed, snuggling his face in between the pillows - In hopes of crashing his body into his girlfriend's. 

Halting his moves immediately, to his dismay, he was welcomed by an empty bed. 

Waking up almost immediately, Mark stood up from the bed in just his shorts and t-shirts that he had previously left in her apartment. 

He looked around the room, and she was nowhere to be found. 

No, not again. 

She left him. Again? 

After everything last night. She left. 

In a panic state, Mark dashed through the hallway, the living room was his last hope. 

Reaching the living room, the house was still the same mess as yesterday. Her work was all on the floor, Finn's cat food was scattered all over the carpet and there were unwashed wine glasses. 

Too crowded in the thoughts of losing the girl, Mark didn't even notice that she was standing by the kitchen counter all the while long. 

"I know, don't nag at me, I'll clean up later" Jieun quickly defended herself, looking over to Mark who had a disgusted face from her living room. 

"You're here..." Mark muttered looking at the girl. He stood there stunned. 

There she was. The girl who he loved so dearly. Jieun stood there with a teabag and a cup of hot water. She looks just as pretty as the night before. Her hair was a mess from the night before, and she was still in her underwear and his t-shirt that looks oversized on her. Even though in such a state, she still looked the prettiest to him. 

What a lucky man he was. 

"This is my house... of course, I'll be here..." Jieun knitted her brows, confused by Mark's words.

"Do you have a fever? why are you acting so weird early in the morning?" She said as she walked closer to him, raising her palm to his forehead, checking his temperature. 

Barely letting her have another word, Mark pulled Jieun into a hug. Locking her in his embrace. 

"So last night wasn't a dream?" Mark pulled away slightly. Hands still on her waist, not letting her go. 

"No?..." Jieun muttered. 

His eyes looked over on her face, observing her features. Then his fingers went on to push a few strands of her hair behind her ear, tucking it in. Having a clearer vision of her girlfriend. He smiled just at the thought of her. 

"What's with that smile?" Jieun blushed at the sudden intimacy. "Because you're finally my girlfriend~" Mark chuckled. His comment made Jieun giggle along with him. It was so cheesy and wholesome, yet she loved all of it. 

"I'm not your girlfriend..." Jieun rolled her eyes whilst still giggling, pushing Mark away. "You're not?" He cocked a brow at her response. "yea... I mean you never asked me..." She trailed off. She wanted to tease him. 

Jieun slightly walked away from him, but Mark was fast to pull her in his embrace once again. 

"I thought you liked me too? and we both mutually agreed?" He asked, his eyes all blur and innocent. Jieun laughed at his reaction, he is always so cute when he's confused. "Since when did we?" She said making a thinking pose, pouting her lips. 

"Was last night nothing to you?" He knitted his brows, annoyed by how she was acting. 

Breaking a laugh, "That's not how it works Mark Lee~" Jieun cooed and put her arms over his neck, pulling him closer. 

"Well," He took a deep breath, "would you like to be my girlfriend?" He asked shyly, a tint of red on his cheeks. She looked at him, eyes full of love. 

Instead of answering him, Jieun leaned in, capturing his lips. The kiss was soft and mellow, yet it still set butterflied all over his stomach. 

"I'll take that as a yes" He smiled at her, pulling her in for a second kiss. 

Finally, they were more than friends.

a/n: boo boo!! I'm sorry this was such a bad ending T__T 💀💀💀but I tried to keep it as simple as possible! I'm not sure if I want to make a sequel, but I do have ideas for it... let me know if yall want one... I'll think about it hehe 😁😁
