Sarah laid her body flat on her bed and took a deep sigh.
“What is this feeling? I feel insecure, I feel like I’m going to lose something, I feel so angry right now I don’t even know who I am angry at, auuugghh… this is shitty this is such a shitty feeling”
Suddenly she heard beeps from her phone.
She grabbed her phone from the nightstand and takes a look at who’s sending her messages in the middle of the night
“Lily?” she muttered as she opened the messages.
Lily: Yo! Sarah… Can Hamish eat with us tomorrow?
“FUCKING NO!” she thought to herself but she replied Yes with a heavy heart.
Lily: Thankkkk yooouuuu!! You know what he’s sweet! I think I like him already
(but deep inside Lily she knows that she just wants to hide her real emotion; her love for Sarah. She’s afraid that Sarah might not accept her feelings or worst; stain their relationship)
Sarah: That’s great. I don’t really feel well Lil. Can we just talk tomorrow?
Lil: Of course! Heart ya! Good nighttt!!
Sarah: Night
The moment Lily stopped texting her she threw her phone in the wall; “FUUUUCCKKK!”
Zachary came busting into her door the moment he heard the loud noise.
“What the hell is that Paulson!?” he asks worriedly.
“How’d ya get in?” Sarah looked at Zach; her eyes were starting to water.
“You didn’t lock your door, and I heard this loud noise so I went here and Holy god” Zach looked at the floor and saw Sarah’s phone in pieces.
“What’s wrong?” he asks once again.
“Dude… I don’t know. I’m confused. This is shit… just total shit. That Hamish…”
“You mean that basketball player? Who’s dating Lil? What about?” Zach inquired although he knew that his bestfriend is jealous.
“I don’t like him for her. how does she even like him!?” Sarah blurted out as she sat on her bed and punch the pillows.
“Don’t act like a child now bes. Let me ask you a question” Zachary rests his hands on Sarah’s shoulder and turned her around to face him
“What?” teary eyed Sarah looked at Zach, confused.
“Do you like Lily?”
Sarah gulped the question she does know the answer but denies the fact that it was indeed a yes. She stares at him; biting her lip. Conserving her answer, she was afraid to admit it.
“Well?” Zach raised his brow as he waits for her reply
“You didn’t judge me when I came out 5 years ago, so… it’s totally fine.”
“Yes.” She said in a low audible voice.
“What is it again? say it.”
“YES.”
“YES, What?”
“YES I FUCKING LIKE HER OKAY!?” she yelled shyly as she gets a pillow and covered her face as she lay on her bed.
