Accident

(Madison's POV)
Weeks went by as normal, I felt healthy and overall happy especially today.

I was sitting at my desk in class teaching a couple of students, because they were doing book work in silence I allowed myself to day dream about Charles and get my self excited over tonight's date with him. We've been together for quite a long time, It was really funny how he asked me on a date today hah.

(Flashback)
I rolled over to the other side of the bed only to see that I was empty so I shot straight up.
"Shit! You scared me" Charles jumped and stumbled whilst he was doing up his white shirt.
"Sorry" I giggled "why are you up so early?" I looked confused. It's 5am and we usually both get up at 7am.
"I have a lot, a lot of paper work to do!" He frowned "I'm sorry" he said as he tucked his shirt in to his trousers.

"Can you please just come in bed for a couple of seconds" I gave him my best puppy eyes. He look at me for a couple of seconds and have in. He crawled under the covers and put his arm around me, I rested my head against his chest.

"How long have we been together?" I asked him

"Almost 2years now.... OM MY GOD I HAVEN'T TAKEN YOU OUT TO DINNER IN AGES! Ok tonight at 8 make sure you're wearing your favourite dress and I'm gonna take you out to a really nice restaurant" he kissed my forehead softly before leaving the room.

(Reality)
My day dreaming was put on pause when I heard one of my students having a row at another student, I looked at them but I couldn't make out what they were arguing about.... It felt almost like I was under water. They got up from their seats and started pushing one another causing the tables around them to move and hit other student, everyone got up and went to the back of the room and watched.

"Ok that's enough!" I shout as I get out of my seat and walk towards them but they didn't listen, now they've started to throw punches at one another. I try to pull them away from each other but suddenly I feel something crash against my jaw which made my body slam against the floor. The whole room went silent. I started to feel anger and bad energy building up and I tried to fight it away as hard as I could but it wasn't enough... My body floated off the ground like I was in a bubble, my arms lifted towards the two students and I started to flow bright blue then an explosion happened....the two students were tossed across the room... I had no clue if they were dead or alive. My vision then went all blurry and black and I felt my body drop hard onto the floor.

I woke up back in the lab, Charles was next to me.
"What happened?" I asked as I propped myself up.
"I don't know, I wasn't there" he strokes my face before pulling me into a hug. "But I had to call up the two students parents" he pulled me out of the hug and looked at me, I've never seen him this worries before.

After I got cleaned up, me and Charles entered his office. The two students mothers were already sitting and waiting for us, we sat down across them.
"I would just like to start off and say that this was not Madison's fault" he tried to defend me.
"Then who's was it?" One them asked looked really confused and pissed.
"Madison has been feeling unwell lately" he held my hand
"If she's not well then why was she teaching?" Same woman asked. Charles looked defeated.
"Because I didn't think that my condition was this bad and I... I love teaching" I replied whilst shrugging my shoulders.
"You are supposed to be clever and all knowing Charles Xavier, because you let her teach, both of our children almost got killed. My eyes grew big and I looked at Charles in shock but he didn't look at me once.
"We are very sorry! We will pay for both of your sons medication and I take full responsibility for this situation" he spoke with guilt in his voice. Both mothers looked satisfied.
