she wont come back (zhongli/guizhong)

note: hey, so i don't rlly know who this relates to in a mother/daughter way so i'm gonna be basing it off of zhongli and guizhong and their relationship.. !

Morax entered Guizhongs study and walked towards her.

"Hey, Guizhong! You wanna go on a walk with me? Before you leave?"

"Sure!"

"You're leaving tomorrow morning to fix the village, right?"

"uh.."

"...Right..?"

"Y-Yea.."

Guizhong wasn't set to leave to fix the villages, she was set to leave the heavens, and she hadn't told Morax yet. She was afraid of how he would act. She knew that he cared about her, a lot, and she couldn't bear the reality of him breaking down. Although, Morax had taken a couple hints as to why she was so distant. He didn't want to come to terms with it though. 

Morax and Guizhong went on a small walk down to the riverside. The fresh air blew against their skin, as they took in a deep breath.

Guizhong had to find a way to divert Morax's attention so that she could leave without a trace. Having to leave is not easy for her, let alone saying goodbye. 

"Look, Morax, i'm not feeling too well.. I think i'll head back to my study."

"I can make you some healing tea! This fresh air is quite nice as well,  are you sure that you'd like to head back"

"Yes, yes I am quite sure."

Guizhong quickly went back to her study room to write a couple notes, and prepare for the end. After 20 minutes, Morax had the urge to go back.

( "Go to the study. Check on her." )

Morax had intrusive thoughts telling him to head back to Guizhongs study. He knew something was wrong.

It had started to rain where Morax was, infact, a storm was coming.

He knew.

(In Guizhongs study)

Guizhong was writing a letter to Morax and to her people, making preperations for her leave. She had just enough time to finish. Finalising her letters and locking her door. Little did she know, the lock wasn't quite locked. She set the letters on her study desk and waited.

Morax ran faster and faster, trying to get to Guizhongs study in time. Tears ran down his face, his thoughts covering his mind like black clouds. There was only one thing he could think about. Saying goodbye. He finally reached the study, and burst the door open.

"GUIZHONG!"

Guizhong turned around in shock, she didn't think he'd reach her.

"You're supposed to be down at the riverside.."

Both Morax and Guizhong calmed down, knowing that this is the end.

"Guizhong please.."

"Hey look, it's raining!"

Morax want's to cry so bad, but he just held it in.

"The sound of rain always.. *sniff* calmed me down.."

Guizhong fell to her knees, and Morax caught her before she hit the ground.

"Thank you..."

"I.. I'm not ready for you to go!"

"Goodbye, Morax.."

Guizhongs eyes slowly shut. As her blood turned cold, her body became weak. She disintegrated away.

Morax was now alone.
