I lied im back

This is from the perspective of tomos cat

--

I was a lone cat once. I sat on the streets waiting for that one child or adult that would feed me the smallest amount of food day by day. One day while roaming the streets I came across this samurai. He was meditating near some Sakura trees with his sword on his lap. I sat in front of him for a while observing him, hoping he would give me food. He opens one eye and says, "Now who might be the presence infront of me...". He looks at me and a smile bursts on his face. "Kitty!!" he said excitedly as he jumps up from his position. He grabs me and pulls me to his chest, hugging me.

"Are you a lone cat? Do you have q family?" he asks. He asked me all these sorts of questions like I was to answer them. In return I just said "Meow.". I don't know what he received from that but to him it seemed like the answer. "I shall blame you Tomo Jr! Just like me!" how convenient.

He took me home that day and I've lived with him ever since. A couple years ago things started to change. He seemed more mysterious and cautious around things. He had his friend over often. This man with a red and black outfit with leaves printed all over him. He had white hair, with a streak of red. They spoke often, and I think they were even planning. One day the samurai went out. I sat on the ledge of the window waiting for him as usual. I wait for hours and hours, until night time.

I got tired, and so I went to sleep and wait till morning. When I woke up he still wasn't there. I figured he had just spent some time at his friends house. He would have told me though, Right? I still had food left in my bowl from the previous day so I continued as usual. I ate my food, played with my toy, and watched the window. Days go by and the samurai still hadn't come back. Maybe he went on a trip, I thought. I was quickly running out of food and no one there to clean my litter. Day and night, day and night. day and night. I sat there over and over again and still, nothing.

One day, there was a knock on the door early in the morning. I sprung up from my bed and rushed to the door. I thought, "Finally it must be him! He's back from his trip!". There was another knock on the door, and then the know started to rattle. I'm meowing to make sure he knows I'm still inside. The door creaks open slowly,  only for me to see the samurai friend rather than him.

The friend looks at me, and then falls the the floor. He holds me in his arms, crying. I wondered why he was crying. Maybe he was allergic to cats. I looked at him curiously, wondering where the samurai was. Under the tone of the friends breath, he repeatedly was saying "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm so so sorry". I don't understand why he was apologizing either. I gathered that he was sorry for not feeding me. I accept his apology.

He cleaned my litter, and gave me food. As I was ready to fall asleep in my bed he sat down and pet me. "I can't leave you like this, I'm going to take you with me.". What? Why? Isn't that cat-napping? He takes me and my things and travels far away from home. The friend takes me to a pile of dirt with a sword stuck in the ground. I looked at the sword and recognized it.

It was the samurais sword.

That, is when I realized.

He was already gone.
