I found Brielle sitting in front of the living room TV watching The Bubble Guppies. She looked over and smiled at me. "You came back fast!" She smiled.
I ran my fingers through my hair. I wasn't supposed to let my little girl see me sweat, but damn, it seems like the spotlight wasn't where I wanted to be. I forced a smile on my face and sucked back the tears in my eyes. "Where's Daddy?"
She pointed towards the stairs. "He and his friend are upstairs." She said."What friend?" I asked.
She shrugged her shoulders. "She pinched my cheeks and they went upstairs." She said.
Who the fuck does he have here now? I don't know what made Korbin think it was okay to have other bitches around my daughter! We just made up, and he's already fucking up. I swiftly walked upstairs and found Korbin's bedroom door closed. I pressed my ear to the door. "You know you missed me, baby." I heard a woman's voice. It sounded exactly like Mia!
I restrained myself from bursting through the doors because I wanted to hear what Korbin had to say next. "Why are you doing all this crazy shit, Mia?""I went to Europe to get my clothing line together, but after 6 months you're not answering anymore of my phone calls and then you're all over the place with that bitch, and taking care of her daughter too. Korbin, all I did was love you, and you know that you're wrong! I still love you, and I know for a fact that if it's real, it doesn't go away away that fast." She sounded like she was crying now.
Korbin was quiet for a few moments. "Why did you do that to me?" She asked him.
Korbin was quiet again. "I-I don't know, Mia." He replied.
"Do you love her?" She cried.
Korbin was quiet again. "I love both of y'all." He sighed.
"Choose, me or her. We can get a divorce and you can lose everything or you can break up with her and the only thing you'll really lose is her and her daughter."
Korbin was quiet again. "You better make the right choice." I whispered harshly feeling more tears falling from eyes. How the fuck did he have both of us under the same roof crying for his ass?
"I choose you." Korbin whispered.
Mia cried harder and then I heard smacking sounds meaning that they were in the room kissing. I started to go inside the room, but I paused when I grasped the door knob. I looked down at my finger and noticed the promise ring. He definitely broke his prom to Brielle. "Fuck it." I whispered to myself.
I barged into the room and found her on the bed straddling him. This was more painful than I expected it to be. The minute I saw them I clasped my hands over my mouth crying harder. I couldn't control my tears anymore. When I laid my eyes on Mia's smirk, I felt my blood boil.
"You! You fucked up my life!" I yelled at her.
"No, you fucked up your life messing with what's mine." She removed herself from Korbin and stepped in front of me.
