Through Good and Bad

My Fear

        As far as I know I only have one fear. That's my father. I woke up in the kitchen, where I was usually beaten. He came at me and started beating me with a belt, well that's new. He always like to hurt me with his hands. After about five minutes I just lay there about to die. I close my eyes and let him continue beating me, then I realize something. This isn't real I tell myself. I wake up gasping for air and Eric and Four were looking at the screen. Eric turned to me and asked, ¨He did that to you?¨ I just shook my head showing him I don't want to talk about it.

      ¨What was my time?¨ I asked genuinely worried they might have suspected something. Eric already new, but Four didn't. 

       ¨Three minutes and thirty-five seconds. How did you do it that fast?¨ I shrugged and walked out the door.   I was walking and thinking how I could pass the test without being caught as Divergent. I came up with a solution, it was kinda obvious. I need to take my time and do things Dauntless style. That's what I was going to do tomorrow. I got to the accomidations and saw Jax kissing Tanner. ¨I KNEW IT!!¨ They jumped as I yelled excitedly. 

        ¨Why do you look excited?¨ Tanner asked.

        ¨It's about time. Do you two know how annoying you've been. I was hoping that you would get together. The way you acted around each other, it was obvious the whole time.¨ I clapped my hands. ¨Now I'm going to get some piercings and tattoos. Who wants to go with me?¨ They both followed me out the door and we went to the pit. I decided I was going to get either a snake bites or just one piercing on my lip. I was aslo going to get my ears pierced. Get at least three more tattoos. What can I say, I'm Dauntless. My tattoo was going to be a dagger going down my side with flames on it. And the saying No Fear on the hilt. After I got my piercings, I decided to go with my ears, nose, and one lips piercing, I went to the tattoo parlor and told Tori what I wanted. Tori was always the one I got to do my tattoos. 

        After I got things done I found Tanner and Jax in the bar and told them I was going to go back to go to sleep. They said ok, but when I turned around everything was most certainly not ok. I saw Eric dancing with another girl. She was completely opposite of me. She had blonde hair I had dark brown, she was short I was tall-ish. And, she was a slut. I was not. Eric was smiling to, what the hell was going on? He happened to look over my way and guilt immidiatley covered his face. I ran out of the bar, and he was right behind me. I made it outside of the pit when he caught up to me. ¨Go date her in public Eric, because I'm not going to be your side toy any more. So fuck off.¨ I yelled and tried to run, but he cut me off by moving infront of me. 

        ¨Let me explain.¨ He pleaded.

        ¨You've explained enough already. You don't want to date me in public, but its ok to get with her in public.¨ I said tears streaming down my face. And speak of the devil here she came. 

        ¨Eric, come back to the party I miss you.¨ She whined. ¨Oh, hi my name is Tyra.¨

        ¨Oh hi Tyra. Go back to the party she miss' you so much.¨ I mocked her whine.

        ¨What's your problem?¨ She said angry.

        ¨You wanna know my problem? It's you and him. That's my fucking problem.¨ As I said that she came at me and I dodged and slammed her face into the rock wall. Then I kicked her ribs and she walked off crying to the infirmary. ¨I expected more from a Dauntless.¨ I said and started walking.

        ¨Wait Rose, You didn't have to do that.¨ Eric yelled.

        ¨You know what Eric, fuck off and don't ever talk to me again. I would rather live in my worst fear than be hurt like this again. If you ever talk to me again I will punch you in the face.¨ I saw the pain in his face and with that I walked off crying.
