Chapter-10

Lily's P.O.V.

I may show that I am angry and I don't understand how I feel.

I understand, but I care for you

I know how much hurt you are.

But if I indulge you, you will do something nonsense again.

I know though you push everyone away you crave love.

You want to hide in someone's arm and cry your heart out

You also want someone who can care for you, pamper you, Love you.

But you are afraid. What if someone again breaks you?

I want to help but don't know how to help.

Maybe I don't know how to show you the right path.

That's why I always try to make you fall for someone.

So that he can make you forget your past with his love.

I also know that may not work.

But I want to try because I can't see you like this.

I want my old friend back who used to laugh, love, enjoy her life.

I know you may not like how I force you to move on.

But I will always try.

Maybe someday my effort will show its result.

If it doesn't show too, it doesn't matter.

I will be with you all the way you will pass.

I will always help you whether you want it or not

After some time Nyla said she wants to go inside and sleep.

I know she is mentally exhausted, so I went with her.

She lies in the bed and falls asleep. When I saw her I felt she is sleeping peacefully after a long time.

Her face has a slight smile, and her face looks peaceful.

I don't know how much she gets relief, but I know this will make her relieve a bit. Maybe she can now move on.

After I leave her room Tina came to me.

I pass her a smile.

Her idea worked.

I know we trapped Nyla. to do this.

But I know she will have no doubt.

And I am sure it's helped.

"Can we talk?" She asks and I nod. "Yes. Let's go." I close the door carefully and walk with her.

I know she came to call me because Sid was waiting for us in Rehan's office.

After I went to Rehan's office, Rehan and Sid are already there.

"How is she?" Rehan asks first when.

"Sleeping now," I reply and take my seat.

"How is her condition?" He asks again.

"I don't know. But I wish she can now get over this. I want to see her happy." I sigh.

If I would have known her life will change like this, I would have never left her alone.

Or would have to take her with me.

These eight years I have always felt regret why I left her alone.

"We too," Sid says and comforts me.

"Maybe now she can move on. I don't know if it was love, hatred, or hurt she get from them. But it changed her into a different person. I miss my friend." a tear slip from my eyes.

"We wish she gets over this. Don't be sad Lily. She is not alone. We are with her and always will be." Tina hugs me and says.

I am glad that she is not alone.

If I am not here Tina and Sid will be with her.

And I think Rehan too.

I don't know why I feel he likes Nyla.

This looks abnormal, but he cares for Nyla like lovers care for their partners.

"Me too. She used to be cheerful. Before, when she used to tell me how she believed in love I used to tease her. Who knew the person who believed in love so much will run from love." I sigh.

She used to be the person who was too much obsessed with a fairy tale.

She once told me that maybe it's not an era of a fairy tale but true love exists.

But now she doesn't even believe that someone can love her too.

"Don't worry. Maybe she will again believe in love." Sid comforts me.

"I also wish. But I know she will not be the same again." The pain has changed her a lot.

"Don't worry. We will never leave her alone. And don't forget when gold went through the fire, it became jewelry. Our Nyla is a Gem and someone will truly know her value." Tina says.

"I know. But what will you do if she locks herself again?" I ask.

I know that will surely happen.

I just wish she doesn't make distance from Sid and Tina too.

I know there is a chance for her to do that.

"You are right," Tina looks concerned. "Don't worry. We will not let her do this time." Sid promise.

"I hope so," I lean on the chair.

This time I hope her life changes into betterment.

And about Rehan, I have to talk with Sid about him.

If something is going on, I am sure Sid will know.

I don't have any problem with Rehan.

But I don't want the incident of John repeated.

After talking to them, I went back to Nyla.

She is still sleeping peacefully. And there is a faint smile on her lips.

I hope this smile always remains on her lips.
