Chapter-22

"You want to come inside?" I ask politely.

I know we are going outside.

But he is standing in my doorway. I should ask him, right?

"No, I will come another time. We will be late for the dinner," he replies.

"Ok let me lock the door then," I say. I lock my door and turn again to look at him.

"For you." he forwards the roses to me and I take them with a smile.

"Thanks," I say and take them.

After that, we take the elevator downstairs and get into Rehan's car.

"Where are we going?" I ask while wearing the seat belt.

"it's a surprise," he replies and starts to drive.

I don't know why I have a bad promotion that something is going to be wrong today.

I hate surprises.

I like to be in control of every situation.

But I divert my mind by saying it's just my thought and ignore it.

Rehan brings me to a restaurant on the city's outskirts. I have never come here.

It is really beautiful but the special thing is the restaurant has an open

Space arrangement and the table are arranged surrounding a lake. In the lake, flowers are floating made of lights in the shape of a big lotus.

Each table has a separate private space and is under a separate canopy.

Everywhere there is light, and the canopies are adorned with fairy lights.

"Do you like it?" he asks and I nod

"yes. the place is beautiful. But is it not famous why there are no people other than us?" I ask confused.

The place is heart-touching. I think they are not promoting the restaurant otherwise there wouldn't be a lack of visitors.

"This is a part of our new project. The restaurant is not yet open to the public," he says with a smile.

That's explaining it. I know it will do well when it will be open for people.

"So we are the first customer here?" I ask surprised.

"You can say that." he rubs his neck embarrassed.

"Wow. All the projects have unique ideas. I starting to like them a lot. What do you have other than this restaurant around the city?" I ask curiously. I think there will be more in the town.

"You will get to know me soon. Now what do you want to eat?" he asks and we take our seats.

He forwards me a menu. I take the menu and a waiter came and stand by me. I place my order and forward the menu to him.

"Same as her," he says, and the waiter nod and leave.

"So where do we start?" he asks and looks at him.

I was so mesmerized by the surrounding I couldn't move my gaze away.

"What?" I ask confused.

"You wanted to know each other." He says. Though it was who suggested the idea it's Ok. I also want to know him, so I nod.

"So you can start?" I say.

"Ok. So My name is Rehan you know. I have a sister who has already got married. I live with my parents. That's all my family. I studied architecture and now handling my family business. That's all of me." he says. Why he is telling about his family? We are not on a blind date.
