Chapter Fourty Four

I had talked with the girls for a while last night on the bus. I'd had a few texts from Lottie and Morgan, but I wasn't ready to open them yet. I wasn't even mad at Lottie anymore, but I knew if I talked to her and not to Morgan, it wouldn't be right. Plus, I was planning to talk to him today.

We were a few hours out of Salt Lake City and the girls and I were in the Lounge. We were all scrolling through Instagram and Twitter. It had come out that Morgan denied the rumor onstage and Katie was still saying he was lying.

"God, she's a bitch" Maddie says.

"Listen to what this person said" I say. I began to read a tweet: "katie is nothing but a full fledged liar. morgan fans know she did him dirty and now the that he's finally happy wjth Spencer Stiles, here comes katie trying to ruin shit again. girl bye. you missed your chance. stop playing the mama card".

"Im so glad his fans have your back" Tae says.

"Me too. However, listen to this one". I started reading anither tweet: "poor spencer. i guess she knows where morgans loyalty is. did she really think she had a chance with a mega star? she's a boozed out wannabe. get out of the public eye".

"And that means that I'm taking this" Maddie says and takes my phone from my hand. I gladly let her.

"Spence, you know what you have have do, right?" Tae asks. I nod.

"Yes, and I'm going too" I say.

"Good. Because we literally just got back on tour, and we can't have tension this early" Maddie says.

"How do you all not have these fights Jonah and Josh?" I ask. Maddie chuckles.

"I've loved that boy since I was fifteen. We've had our fair share of shit to work through" She says. "We grew up together. We worked through it, because like you and Morgan...we love each other through the madness".

"And, when I met Josh, I was broken. He healed me, and I knew he was someone I'd love through everything because he loved me through everything" Tae answers. "You and Morgan have such a unique story, it has to work out, and I think it will".

"Spence, if you don't think it's worth fighting for, then you know what to do. But...nothing worth fighting for ever came easy" Maddie says.

"Oh, it's worth it. That's what sucks. He's the best thing I've ever had" I say. I half smile. "He says it best in that song. I'm his problem now". They both laughed too.

"Well, we're almost to the venue. Do you have any idea what you're gonna say." Maddie asks.

"Not a clue" I reply. I sunk into my seat and got lost in thought. I knew in my heart Morgan would never do anything like that, but..I guess in this society you can't help but instantly think the worst, which is bad enough. I love him with with my heart. He was my soul mate. He was my missing piece. He held my heart in his hands and that was all that mattered to me. He and I had gotten through plenty of hard time before, so I knew we could this time. Through the Madness. Forever He and I. We were each others problems and taking all the shit that went along with that, but he was worth every bit of it. He was my rock. He was my world. He's my person. He's mine.
