Two days left until tour began. Today, I had a meeting with Charlotte Walsh at 10AM. I found a pair of dress pants in my suitcase and a maroon dress shirt, then put my hair into a bun before grabbing my coffee and heading out the door.

Before I even got to start my car, my phone rang.

"hi, this is spencer walsh".

"spencer, hey. it's jagger. im heading to starbucks before I come in, what's your order? lottie says meetings always go bad with no coffee ".

"well, i actually got some at home".

"yeah, she does too". I laughed.

"just a carmel macchiato".

"you got it. see ya soon".

I was slowly starting to see that the dynamic here at Wolfe was like a little family, and that was important to me. I'm glad I took the job. Plus, it was a nice way to get out of my hometown, and I needed that desperately.

I pulled into the parking lot and gathered my things. I made sure I had my little ID I got yesterday to get past the doors. When I went inside, Jagger was waiting with a woman. She had auburn hair and a 'take no shit' attitude. She seemed extremely cool already.

"There she is" Jagger says, handing my cup.

"Thank you" I say.

"You must be Spencer. I'm Charlotte Walsh, but everyone calls me 'Lottie'" She says.

"Hey. Great to meet you" I say.

"Ready?" She asks. I nod and follow her to a conference room. "Honestly, I don't have anything to go over. I just wanted to meet you and hang out". I laughed.

"Hey, I'll take it" I say. We both laughed. She leaned back in her chair.

"So what made you take this job? Your application said you were a venue manager" She asks.

"Yeah, I was. I took this job just because it was different. Plus, it's away from home, and that's what I wanted" I say.

"Hey, I get it. I'm from Knoxville, but getting out of there was the best thing that ever happened to me" She says. "These people here are like my family. I've been a manager for this company since I was twenty two. People here were a better family to me than the one I had".

"I hear that" I say. I never talked about my past much, but my mother was never in the picture. She chose drugs and alcohol over me. As for my dad, he just liked saying be was a father, not actually being a father.

"Lucky for you, Spence. You got a couple of great people to be with on this tour. Plus, I'm amazing" She says.

"Well, so do you, right? I mean, Morgan is one of the biggest names in country music right now" I state. She rolled her eyes.

"He is. But that ego is the size of Texas. Pray for me this tour" She says with a laugh. I couldn't help but chuckle too.

"Great. Glad that's your problem" I say jokingly. She laughed.

"Please. I'll make you deal with his ass" She scoffs, standing up. "I've gotta pee".

"Well, I think I'm gonna go see if my order for the girls is in. I'll see you later?" I ask.

"For sure" She says before disappearing out of the door.

I went downstairs to see if I had any deliveries yet. It was only 11AM, so I didn't expect too, but I had several. It was full of T Shirts of the girls for the road.

"Those just came in. I was about to call you" Jagger says from the desk.

"That's...ten boxes of shirts" I say. He nods, walking over to me, wheeling a dolly with him.

"Yeah, welcome to the joys of management" He says. "Lottie sometimes has over twenty for Morgan. Not to mention all the other tours she's been on for the other artists she manages".

"Other aritsts?" I ask.

"She manages Morgan, but also Thomas Rhett and Runaway June. She had Maddie and Tae, but you took that over. She's managed Morgan the longest though".

"Oh, I didn't know that" I say.

"Yeah, she's good" He says. "You'll also need this to get these boxes wherever you're gonna take them".

"I'll just take them to my car. I'm going to work on the VIP bags tonight for the show Friday. We leave tomrrow morning" I say. He nods.

"Load up. I'll help" He says.

I made it home with all of my things for the show. It took me about three hours to get everything organized the way i wanted it, but I managed. It was now close to 5PM. I still hadn't eaten or packed of my my suitcases for the road and we were leaving for Atlanta at 6AM.

I grabbed the phone and looked up some Chinese takeout places around and found one that looked nice, so I placed an order for Crab Rangoon's and Shrimp Lo Mein. The wait was thirty minutes, so I had time to atleast get all my bags out to pack. I didn't realize how crazy this would be, but in a way it was fun. Plus, not many people in this world could say they tour the world with celebrities.

Hours had passed. It was now 10PM. I sat my alarm for 4AM. I needed an early start in the morning. We had to be at the warehouse the bus loads at by 6AM, and on the road at 7AM on the dot. It felt like my life was just about about begin even though I'd been on this earth for twenty five years. This was my new beginning. Of all the shit I'd been through, nothing could wreck me anymore.
