DRUGS AND DRINK WILL FIX YOU UP. maddy's "wise" words aren't very wise at all. we stick to the plan as discussed on the groupchat and start to get ready in maddy's bedroom.
"i honestly can't believe that fez ghosted you tai like what a jerk" maddy speaks up immediately grabbing my attention.
"that's the thing it's so unlike him that i feel like someone's behind it" i admit deciding to share my recent thoughts with the girl.
"could be true! is there anyone who's been annoyed at fez recently?" cassie asks in a loving attempt to be helpful.
"probably too many to even start guessing" i chuckle making the rest of the girls laugh too.
"guys we need to look so damn hot tonight" maddy runs her eyeliner up by corner of her eye creating a wing.
soon after, all three of us finish our looks. i decide on a two piece skirt and tank top in a baby blue shade with a white fluffy trim along them both. my heels and jacket both match too which pulls my whole look together just perfectly. then just like that we are out and off to the carnival.
once we arrive i let maddy and cassie run over to take some molly and tell them that i'll meet them when they're finished. they offer me some but i politely decline, i'd rather have a good time sober. in the mean time i go in the arcade and play a couple games but also go over to a hook-a-duck game. i reach my last attempt to try and attach the hook but miss when a familiar voice surrounds me.
"you're shit at this"nate laughs. i turn to walk away not wanting anything to do with him.
"fez is here" he calls out, once again bringing my attention back to him like last time.
"where? tell me where?" i ask.
"why should i tell you? i mean you haven't even asked me who raided fez" he raises his eyebrow just as mine draw together.
"what do you mean he was raided? no one knows he was raided. how did you know he was r-" i stop myself when i finally connect the dots. "you son of a bitch! i fucking hate you!" i slap nate hard across the face and push him back as hard as i can which makes him stumble on his feet slightly.
all i know is that i have to find fez. i run away from the tall boy who is standing in complete shock.
"fez!" i shout. i look frantically around looking for the familiar face.
"talia?" his undeniably perfect voice calls out my name from behind me. i spin around as soon as i hear him and then i see him standing at the front of a pretzel stand. he looks worried but i pay no attention.
i sprint to him and jump into his arms and he catches me holding me tight. he kisses my shoulder as i quietly cry in relief.
"you're okay! oh my god you're okay!" is all i'm able to say.
"i'm so sorry talia, you deserve to know so much. i just needed to sort my head out i had to do some shit i really ain't proud of and-" fez rambles as he tries to find the words as quick as he can.
"my fezco" i lower his head so his eyes lock with mine although they melt slightly at the addition of 'my' in front of his name. "i know what happened. that's probably why nate's stood there staring at me right now" i roll my eyes just at the thought of him.
"i've already got a plan for him ma, he'll have what's coming for him" fez tenses as his eyes look above my head to nate.
"what we doing?" i smirk so that fez knows i'm apart of his plan.
"you ain't up to shit my little fire starter, tryna get yourself involved in big business" he smiles brightly before pulling me close to his chest again. i inhale his familiar scent and my heart could burst at the smell.
"whatever. just please don't leave again. i love you" i rest my palms on his cheeks.
"i love you more baby" he turns his head and kisses my hand just as ashtray pops his head round the corner of the pretzel van.
"oh shit, don't tell me you on that molly shit with maddy and cassie. they crazy bitches" ash shudders making me smile.
"you what now?" fez looks at me with a raised brow.
"i'm not on nothing! i left them to do their thing and then ran into nate thennnn ended up slapping him thennn i ran into you!" i explain as ash's and fez's eyes widen at the thought of me practically jumping a whole foot just to graze nate's face.
"damn. fez is rubbing off on you huh? thinking you're all bad" ash chuckles.
"oh whatever smart ass" i walk over and pull him close and he hugs me back surprisingly. "hey ash?"
"don't go asking me no favours cause you think you got me all soft and shit" he huffs but doesn't let go of my waist.
"you think i can steal your brother for 5 to go on the ferris wheel" i smile as i already know the young boys answer.
he couldn't say no to me and fez.
