i've never felt more confident than right now when i have fez at my side. my boyfriend. it feels so incredibly surreal. of course he always meant more to me than a friend did, but to have that official label is insane. in the absolute best way possible.
our hands are locked together as we walk into the huge house party for new years eve. ashtray is also accompanying us, walking next to me. i wrap my arm over his shoulder and kiss the top of his head making his frown disappear and a small smile appear.
"you look absolutely beautiful tonight" fez kisses my cheek.
"thank you, you look undeniably handsome too" i compliment him back making him grin.
all three of us walk into the house party together and immediately merge into the massive groups of people. right away i spot maddy and cassie dancing with eachother and they notice me too.
"O-M-G" they shout together as they see me and fez.
"i ain't ever gon understand why your friends always screaming and shit" fez shakes his head in disappointment making me burst out laughing.
"you two look adorable!" cassie exclaims before throwing her arms over my shoulders giving me a hug.
"happy new year cuties!" maddy is next to hug me in which i hug her back.
"imma do some business" fez speaks close to my ear so that i can hear him over the loud music.
"okay be safe please" i turn my head and peck his lips.
"always, find me if you need me" fez presses an extra kiss to my forehead before he leaves me and my two bestfriend's.
"i think this calls for shots bitches" maddy calls out before we all cheer in agreement.
the hour whizzes by after following our new routine, shots then dance, more shots and then more dancing. i'm definitely drunk but how can i feel bad? it is new years after all! it definitely calls for a celebration.
cassie sways her hips against me whilst i mirror the same on to maddy as we all giggle to ourselves. everyone's eyes are on us but they all know that we are untouchable. nate and mckay watch from the kitchen bar but fez is unseen. until i spot him on the couch sitting with rue smoking a blunt. rue's talking to him but his eyes didn't move from me as i carried on swaying my ass against maddy whilst she holds my hips.
"be back soon!" i smile to the two girls and skip over to fez and join him sitting down.
"hey baby!" i smile before leaning in to kiss him.
"sup shorty" fez nods with a smirk.
"not long to go!" rue cheers making me cheer too.
"i can't believe it! i couldn't imagine my new year being any better than this" i squeeze fez's hand when suddenly my phone vibrates.
