Yuu had quickly run to the bathroom to wash his hands clean. Turning on the lights he wasn't sure if he had woken anyone up but he really didn't care at the moment. Ripping off his shirt he threw it in the sink and turned on the water desperately scrubbing his hands with soap. He was so confused, why would there be blood on his hands if it was only a dream. It wasn't real so why?

When finally all the blood had left his hands Yuu sighed and didn't bother cleaning up way too exhausted to even think about cleaning he would do it in the morning. He didn't know whether it was a smart idea to go back to sleep or not but he did it anyway, they would have a mission tomorrow and he needs the rest.

Despite being asleep he always felt completely conscious in his dreams, everything always felt real and he could speak what he wished to say. So when he found himself inside of a hall full of burning candles. A place full of light no shadow to be seen except his own. Walking down the hall he found another figure standing against a wall in a spot of darkness that had appeared when he walked up to them.

A girl ran past him yelling his name, he was about to answer when someone else ran past him. "I'm going to catch you, Emily!" Yuu stopped walking and watched a group of kids run away from his younger self.

The hall disappeared and they were now outside on a playground where they used to play when they were kids. His younger self was running after the other kids from the orphanage. He smiled a little and watched them run around for a while. "I don't understand why you do this to yourself yuu-Chan" he turned around and saw the blonde standing behind him and let his head drop. "Like I can control what happens in my dreams" "of course, you can control what happens. You keep letting me in after all" yuu looked at the floor for a couple of seconds before looking at the blonde. "Are you real Mika?" "I'm as real as you want me to be yuu-Chan. This is your dream" Yuu groaned and moved to stand in front of the other. "You say that every time I ask. I want you to be real! I want you to be alive Mika! To be with me so please... please don't die again" Mikaela smiled a little before wrapping his arms around the human hugging him. "My apologies for ruining your shirt yuu-Chan I did not know" yuu just nodded burying his face into Mika his chest holding him tightly. "Why are you here Mika?" Mika lifted yuu his head up and pointed to the kids who were still playing. "I need you to believe yuu-Chan. I am still here I've always been" yuu looked at where the other was pointing and saw his younger self run into someone.

"Sorry mister.." "it's fine no need to apologize" he held his hand out and yuu grabbed it being pulled up by the man. He remembers this day he had injured his knee a little while falling and someone was kind enough to help him with bandaging his bleeding knee. The hood of the man fell off and yuu his eyes widened, There was no way he had met Mika this early in his life, vampires weren't even very known off let aside that they went outside of their cities. He watched the two of them but then a couple of years ago to sit on a bench and blonde had torn part of his jacket to bandage his knee and stop the bleeding.

Yuu watched how the blonde left and how he had tried going after him but failed due to the injury. "That was you Mika?" "Mhm yes. You've grown a lot yuu-Chan" Yuu smiled and little and patted the head of the blonde who had laid his head on his shoulder. "You should stop growing you're almost taller than me" yuu laughed a little and watched as the children disappear before his eyes. "Remember the promise you made me Mika?" The blonde nodded and stood up straight again. "I promised to never leave you." Mikaela moved his hand and took out the necklace yuu was wearing and smiled a little. "Do you know what it is?" He held up the pendant and yuu smiled a little. "I always thought your family symbol" Mikaela nodded and let go of it. "You should wake up now yuu-Chan" Yuu shook his head and held onto the other not wanting to be left again. "You normally die during my dreams... why not now?" "Maybe I'll tell you sometime, but wake up yuu-San" "Yuu-San? You never call me that?" His eyes opened and noticed Shinoa frantically shaking him. "Yuu-san! Oh thank god you're awake, we found your shirt with blood all over it in the bathroom we got worried about you" yuu looked around and sighed before giving her a smile.

"I'm fine don't worry about it I'm not hurt... I'll explain sometime later maybe." She nodded and told him to get ready before they would be late, again.

Yuu groaned and got out of bed and got into his uniform in a slightly better mood than yesterday. He got downstairs and the others were already ready and waiting for him. "Took you long enough yuu-san, let's go now before guran gets the right to scold us for being late!" They all rolled their eyes and followed Shinoa outside the walls. The world outside of the human community is a world that was destroyed. Where monsters and vampires crawled on the streets. "So our mission is simple this time. We're are going to head towards Nagoya. There has been information about a smaller group of vampires just outside of the city and they have useful information about the situation in Sanguimen that we are planning on attacking once we gathered enough information about it" they all nodded and started walking. It was a rather small mission seeing as only Shinoa her squad and guran and Shinya were going, that might also be because it is faster to move in smaller groups.
