They walked through the waste land which used to be huge cities. Mikaela told her about what everything used to be before the virus broke out and how beautiful it used to be. She listened to him with full attention as she was still young when the world went to hell she doesn't have many memories from how cities used to look like.

When they got to the city shinoa was about to just walk up to the gate forgetting she just came out of nowhere while she is supposed to be sick and with a vampire. Mikaela took her hand and lead her around a little before picking her up and jumping over a wall, he came here often enough to know how to get in and out without being seen.

Shinoa thanked the other when he sat her down and she lead him to where the ball would be held. She noticed his eyes turning from red to blue and smiled a little, she didn't really know how it happened but didn't question it either. She was a little worried about him stil getting reconized as he wasn't carrying any weapons but mikeala didn't seem nervous at all and just walked beside her.

When they got to the big hall where it would be held shinoa saw her girlfriend sitting on the stairs leading up to the big room with the rest of their friends. She quickly hurried over to them. "guys!!" they all looked up at her and smiled. Mitsuba instantly hugged onto her girlfriend seeming to let all the worry fade away. "we were all so worried! You didn't say where you were going and you didn't answer any calls or texts.."

Shinoa broke the hug and just laughed nervously before turning around and stepping aside so they could see the person she brought with her. Yu who was just sulking on the stairs in loneliness cause everyone seemed to hate on him for being 'single' he wasn't feeling all to well. "yu-chan" you frowned a little and looked up before hugging himself onto the vampire. "mika!"

Mikaela sighed and smiled a little wrapping his arms around the younger boy. "my apologies for being away so long, the concept of time seems to not be fully intrepented into me" yu just laughed and looked up at mika before letting go of the blonde still holding his hand. "it's alright.. Thanks for coming mika- wait- shinoa! Did you go to get him!?" shinoa turned around and smiled at her friend.

"of course i did. You were sulking for days yu-san. I didn't want to see you sad. And mikaela-san agreed to come with me after he finished his duties" the other still seemed to be a little on edge seeing as there is a literal vampire standing in front of them. And not just a vampire. But a noble.

"ah- this is mika! Mikaela tep- mikaela shindo" mikaela just smiled a little and made a small bow to the friends of his boyfriend. "it's a pleasure meeting you" they relaxed a little when the blonde seemed polite and mitsuba stared at shinoa squeeling a little. "you look so pretty!!" shinoa just rolled her eyes and dragged her girlfriend inside. Yoichi seemed to do the same with kimizuki leaving the two boys alone.
