Guran his squad had almost arrived to the middle of the city with shinya joining them half way trough the city, they did not get trough the city uninjured. They had crossed paths with ferid bathory on the way there and it was quite the fight. They were lucky the progenitor either gave up or got called back so they could continue their mission without losing a squad member.

Most of the squads had reached the middle of the city by now, some had only three or four members left meaning they had lost someone on the way here. Of course, there wasn't any time to mourn as they were still in combat as planned most vampires had gathered in the middle of the city now surrounded by the Japanese imperial demon army, but of course, vampires aren't stupid and some groups had also gathered around the humans keeping them in between the two groups of vampires. The five nobles had been spread out on the battlefield, ferid, crowely, and mikaela were sitting or standing on a broken down tram rail, skull and horn were standing on the other side of the battlefield giving them a good view of what was happening. "weak little human, how sad i thought you would know better than that" of course, that was just the first attack and after that one, it wasn't looking to good for the vampire, kureto had never planned on fighting him one against one, guran and his squad including shinya had all teamed up against the vampire leaving him in a position of only defense. Constantly having to dodge the attacks of seven humans including the annoying bow users in the distance who were shooting at him as well. It was quite annoying if he had to be honest. Mikaela did refuse the help of both ferid and bathory not seeing the need to ask them for help on something as little as this.
