Act 22

"Hello and welcome to our viewers just tuning in. I'm John Philips and I bring you breaking news. In a little country known as Belarus a civil war has broken out between humans, vampires, and monsters. Vampires are pinned against monsters with humans mingled in between. We're going live to Casey Hansen for live coverage. Casey?" He says.

"Good evening John. I'm standing here on the side of the monsters where the battle has come to a stand still! Vampires and monsters are facing off, waiting for the other side to make their move. The queen and kind of Belarus released a statement earlier today saying the would rather lose their lives than accept monster's rights to live in their kingdom. Several assassination attempts have already been made but of course they failed as the queen and king are vampires," She tells the viewers.

"And how are the monsters fairing against the vampires, Casey?" John asks her.

"John, there's been massive casualties on both sides. Leaving one to wonder, how is this possible in a world where monsters are accepted as your every day citizens?" She questions.

"Some places are still not accepting of their monster counterparts as we've shown before. Cities are divided in half, monsters and humans alike are harassed on the street, and of course wars have broken out. It's a sad day indeed," John sighs. "Casey, can we get word from the creatures fighting against the vampires?"

"Of course John," Casey says, the camera following her as she heads through the camp of monsters. "Hello sir. Would you care to spare a few words for our news station?"

"I'm a werewolf. I've lived my whole life in isolation but not anymore. I refuse to leave my homeland. Either they accept us or they will all be terminated!" The werewolf growls, several more nodding in agreement behind him.

"Thank you Casey. We'll continue monitoring with live coverage of how the battle goes. Be safe out there," John says before the camera cuts off of Casey. "Stay tuned. We will be back after these messages."

"Are you alright?" Jane asks, placing a hesitant hand on Y/N's.

"It's just......I can't believe they're not backing down. In a world where all creatures are accepted what did they expect to happen? Creatures would just sit idly by while the rest of the world accepted them? I hate to see my family killed but I'm afraid that's the next step if they don't surrender. Monsters are going to come out on top and my home kingdom is going to fall," Y/N explains.

"Maybe if you went and talked to them? If they could see your success then maybe they would listen?" Jane reasons. "I'll call Slender."

"No, Jane. This is something they have to learn to accept for themselves. Nothing I do or say will convince them otherwise. I will be burying my family once this is over," Y/N declares.

Despite what they did to her they were still her family. They were the ones that created and raised her but she knew she still had no place there. This was her home now and her old home was going to evolve and follow her new home's examples. She was at least thankful the monsters had had enough and risen up. Despite massive casualties she knew they would be coming out on top.

Slender answers several phone calls as he sits at his desk, pulling up the news on his phone to watch what has happening, growing surprised by what he saw. A civil war had broken out in Y/N's home and monsters had had enough of being forced to live in isolation. He gets numerous calls asking him to send aid to the monsters, quick to do just that. He makes several calls to the military, informing them they would be assisting the monstrous citizens in their endeavors. Once he's finished he grabs his phone and calls Y/N, sighing when she fails to pick up her phone. Fine, he'd go see her!
