Y/N's POV
As I fly the Marauder over the ocean to the coordinates to meet up with the USS Michigan in the Pacific Ocean. It's a prototype nuclear submarine which I have no idea what it looks like.
I got the coordinates the captain of the USS Michigan had provided me but all I saw was a vast and empty ocean. There was no sign of the submarine anywhere in the deep waters. I checked the navigational systems and it seemed that we were near the Mariana Trench. The deepest point of the ocean...
I've heard many rumors and stories speculating that something was hiding deep beneath the waters. Some say it's sinister or something that shouldn't be disturbed.
"Appa, isn't the USS Michigan supposed to be here by now?" Sunwoo asked me.
"Yes, Sunwoo but I'm guessing they're late or something had unexpectedly occurred that would've caused them to be delayed," I answered him.
"Maybe..." He commented.
All of a sudden, a huge object appeared on the radar and I tried to deceiver what it was but the signature was too scrambled for me to point out the identity.
Next, something huge had emerged from the water and I looked out the window to see a giant submarine below us. Giant doors opened from the top which appears to be a mini hangar that's big enough for the Maurader to fit.
"Greetings, Representative Jihoon and Yeji, sorry we're late. Please come inside." One of the operators greeted us.
I carefully landed the Maurader inside the small hangar bay before the doors had shut. After landing on the deck, the crew members began their maintenance on the ship. I turned off the engines and opened the landing hatch.
All of us got off the Maurader and we were greeted by what I assumed to be a high-ranking officer. He shook hands with us before telling us to follow him inside the submarine.
The technology here in the USS Michigan was quite advanced compared to the other submarines that we have in the world. I wouldn't be surprised if the Navy had some deal with JYP since all of the computers and hardware look exactly like JYPTL makes.
The officer leads us to what appeared to be the command bridge where the commanding officer was waiting for us.
"Sir, I bring Representatives Jihoon and Yeji of the Chou Royal Family!" The officer introduced us to him.
"I see, welcome aboard Yeji and Y/N. My name is Lieutenant Commander James Holland, I'm the commanding officer of the USS Michigan. It's a pleasure to have you here." He introduced himself to us.
"It's great to meet you too, sir, by the way, why are we near the Mariana Trench?" I curiously asked him.
"Glad you asked that Jihoon, the reason why we are here is that there are speculations that the mermaid's cove is deep in the Mariana Trench and USS Michigan is the only capable submarine that's able to travel down and handle the intense pressure in deep waters like the Marina Trench." He explained to me and I nodded.
