Y/N's POV
Watching the two ladies about to fight against one another, Yeji glared deathly at Bai and she innocently smiled. This worries me since I know vampires don't stand a chance against Demons even with beskar weaponry but those weapons are only effective if they make contact.
Landing a single stab or hit will be nearly impossible, I read that the Yaos move fast and they can strike when their opponent least expects like behind or above. They can also transform into their demon serpent form.
"You know, Yeji, soon your son will have to be married to either me or someone else. Besides, he needs to learn about love and not become a selfish human like the Crimson Dawn." Bai reasoned with her and it only seemed to piss her off more than calm her down.
"Sunwoo will never be a part of the Crimson Dawn and you cannot just force him into a marriage!" Yeji angrily replied to her and she huffed.
"Is that so? Why don't we ask Sunwoo?" Bai proposed but she refused.
Yeji swiftly charges at Bai to slash her with the dagger but Bai summoned her serpent sword and blocked her attack before sending her flying back. Yeji landed on her feet and she tried again but Bai just dodged the attack before using her serpent tail to trip Yeji making her fall down.
"You misunderstand. You said yourself that Sunwoo should decide who he gets to marry. Or is it because you're scared that you'll lose him forever?" Bai asked her and Yeji gets up before trying to stab her but Bai counters it with her sword.
"There's no need to worry, Yeji, Sunwoo will be perfectly safe in my protection, and my love, I'll make sure no harm ever comes to him and you'll still get to see him," Bai explained to her.
"Grrr! Lies! Once, Sunwoo gets married, I'll never see him again!" Yeji accused her and got more aggressive with her attacks.
Yeji draws out her blaster before shooting Bai but she lifts up the rocks with her tail to block the blaster bolts before throwing the rock at her and Yeji avoided it.
"Is that how your culture works? Because that's against our ways, parents are important as well and our husbands are more than welcome to visit them whenever they please." Bai explained to her.
Seeing that Yeji isn't going to calm down any second, I had to step in, using my smoke grenade I packed up, I threw it near Yeji and it blew smoke in the cave.
Taking the opening, I tackle Yeji onto the ground and she struggled to get me off of her but I stand firm in my position before trying to reason with her.
"Jagi, please! Even if Sunwoo gets married to Bai or anyone else, he'll be safe and we both know he's smart and strong. He'll be okay!" I reasoned with her but she shook me off.
"Why are you taking her side?! Aren't you supposed to be with me?! Unbelievable... After all, we've been through together!" She yelled at me while shedding a couple of tears which broke my heart.
