Author's POV

As the Crimson Dawn's submarine travels to the Island of the Hydra, the Ocean was rough with waves crashing into the water causing violent splashes that could easily tear a vessel apart. It wasn't much better in underwater as the current was strong but with the submarine's powerful turbine engines it was able to propel through it.

"How long before we get to the island?" Hajon asked his crew.

"Approximately, ten minutes, sir. With the strong current in the way, it might delay us further than we planned." One of the crew reported which isn't satisfying for him.

"If that's the case, full power to the engines!" Hajon ordered and the crew shifts power to the engines which makes the submarine go faster.

Taking the submarine at a faster speed at 50 knots which is equivalent to 57.5 MPH, in no time, they arrived at the Island of the Hydra from there, a giant structure covered most of the entire island.

It almost looked like an ancient prison along with a statue and many warning signs warning anyone that has made it through the storm to turn back as the Hydra is dangerous but of course, Hajon ignored the signs and hit the beach.

Exiting the submarine, Hajon along with his goons and his ally mythic beings including Yeji, hiked on the old stairs that leads them to the temple. It was clear that nobody had set foot on these steps for a long time. For a good reason.

"Imagine, sir, you'll soon have achieved your dreams of reshaping this world!" Archer enthusiastically said to him but it also made the Lycan and the Siren suspicious of Hajon's intentions.

"Indeed, Archer, with the four key elements in our possession. The Hydra will be completely under my control." He replied to him.

"What do you mean? You promised that will also have control of this monster!" The Lycan alpha pointed out and he chuckled.

Quickly, two of his goons tied the Lycan Sejeong along with the Siren Queen, Hajon ordered the Lycan alpha to be killed as he no longer serves any purpose to him. The two were enraged by this betrayal and Yeji was now feeling regret and guilt for taking this deal.

"Is something wrong, Yeji?" Archer asked her and she shook her head.

"N-No, everything is fine." She assured him and he nodded.

They hiked up to the Temple of Darkness, but the giant metal doors sealed the entrance of the temple shut but with the four key elements present, the metal doors slowly opened for them. Going inside, there was a giant statue of the Hydra and a podium stand.

On top of the podium was an ancient sphere, according to their research it was the sphere that currently imprisons the Hydra.

"At last! The ancient sphere of the Serpent of Destruction!" Hajon excitedly said like an insane person finally getting what it wants.

"What's going on...?" The captured Yaos asked her.

"I-I don't know. I guess that's the artifact that contains the Hydra." She guessed and the Yaos gulped.

"Why? Why did you agree to this deal? More importantly, is it worth it? Now, the whole world is going to burn thanks to you." She explained to her and she groaned.

"Shut up. As long as my son is safe. It's worth the sacrifice!" She retorted and she sighed.

"Will see about that..." She finally replied to her.

Sunwoo's POV

After discovering that I was the chosen human and me finding out that I'm going to marry four Queens of the key elements that summons Saphira the Dragon God. I have no clue what to say...

"We need to head to the Temple of Light. I'm sure that Hajon is already planning to summon the Hydra." My father suggested and we agreed.

Packing up all the things we need, we head to the Slave I gunship, Sanghoon along with his two wives prepare the main systems before the engines roared to life. We take off from the UN assembly building and we set course to the Temple of Light.

About ten minutes into our flight, the weather sensor was going off meaning we were encountering severe weather which is odd because when we checked it was perfectly clear.

"What's going on?!" Leeseo asked him.

"I-I don't know! It just came out of nowhere!" He answered her as the gunship was violently shaking causing us to trip and hang on to something sturdy enough to keep our balance.

That's when we heard a loud roar coming from outside, at first, we thought it was our imagination and noises from the storm but we hear the roaring again but this time, it was louder.

"N-No, already?!" Lady Bai exclaimed as we heard the roar that sounded like a colossal serpent.

"I-Is it... The Hydra?" I asked her and she slowly nodded.

"It would seem so. I've heard terrifying tales of the Serpent of Destruction's roar sends shivers down its enemy's spine. It's one of the reasons why it was sealed away to keep it from destroying our world once more." She answered me and I gulped.

Sanghoon overhears our conversation thus he picked up the speed and boosted the afterburners to reach the Temple of Light as soon as we can because the world is at stake.
