Y/N's POV
Returning from the ocean depths of the Mermaid Kingdom, we fly back to the UN Assembly Palace where the leaders are waiting for us. Carefully, I landed the shuttle onto the landing platform before turning off the engines and opening the landing hatch.
Today, Queen Lee Sungkyung joined us to sign the declaration of friendship and join up with the Vampires and the Mandalorians. Speaking of which... The UN President was quite anxious about meeting her since this would be the second time he had met up with another supernatural being.
"So is this the place where your leaders live?" She curiously asked me.
"Yep, this is where the UN President and other leaders of nations come to meet," I answered her.
She was being escorted by two royal guard members, when we had entered the chamber all of the leaders, including Tzuyu and Sanghoon were already there. They greeted us and tells us to take a seat.
"Now, we can begin our signing. Queen Lee Sungkyung of the Mermaid Kingdom, I've heard that the talks between you and Representatives Hwang Jihoon and Yeji were quite successful, am I correct?" One of the ambassadors of the UN had questioned and Sungkyung nodded.
"Correct, sir, the whole negotiations were successful, although we have a lot to learn about this new world since we've been locked away for a very long time." She answered him.
"I understand, but I also heard that you've gone to war with the sirens along with the help of the Chou Royal Family?" He asked her.
"Yes, with their help. We've defeated the sirens and the Crimson Dawn for now but I'm sure they'll be back and will be more than happy to help." She answered him and he nodded.
The rest of the conversation was general political and policy questions like the orphan program where vampires adopt and marry human babies since Mermaids are immortal like Vampires. Of course, Sungkyung agreed to partake in the program since the population is low.
After all of the talking and signing of other documents, the officials had bring out the official declaration of friendship document and placed it on the table. One of the staff members hands her a pen for her to write.
Finally, all the reporters came in and took pictures and recorded the whole event, Sungkyung signed the document meaning that the declaration of friendship is official. Next, everyone had celebrated the small victory but we all knew it wasn't going to last.
The Crimson Dawn is still out there causing trouble and likely forming alliances to use dangerous supernatural beings for their own purposes before killing them off. We had to figure out what we were going to do next.
With us dominating the ocean this would give us an advantage since we discovered the hideout of the Crimson Dawn is located on a remote island in the Pacific Ocean this will give us a huge advantage but still, we need more numbers.
The others and I went over our next plan of which one we will negotiate with, Christopher explained there are still the Werewolves and the Snake Demons or "Yao" in Chinese. The Werewolf pack lives in the extreme climate in Siberia, it constantly snows there and there are blizzards we need to worry about.
Then there's the Yao, who live in the deep forest of China close to where the Temple of Light was found. They can transform into giant snake demons that can devour a whole ass alligator and there much bigger than a Titanoboa. That's the greatest danger we have to be concerned about besides venomous snake species.
We have two choices here... Either we risk freezing ourselves into giant ice cubes or being consumed by giant snake demons. After arguing for a good while, we finally decided to try to negotiate with the Werewolfs in Siberia.
We packed up all the winter gear and clothing we needed before suiting ourselves up and boarding the shuttle, I had to make some modifications to the coolant systems so it won't end up freezing from the harsh winter before we could take off, and set course.
"So, Appa and Eomma? Where are we going now? And what're all these jackets for?" Sunwoo asked us.
"Well, Sunwoo, we're going to be needing them because we're going to Siberia," Yeji answered him while preparing our weapons and gear.
"Isn't that the region where the legends say the Werewolf pack is hiding?" He curiously asked her and she nodded.
Geez... I hope Sunwoo is ready because he's never been into a region that has a harsh climate like the winter and such. He's probably going to be freezing despite wearing all of that winter gear and jackets that are designed to keep us warm despite the harsh weather.
Lastly... Hope this negotiation mission goes well or else will be in big trouble.
