It's now eleven o'clock in the evening and I haven't seen Jack for at least half an hour. I become a bit paranoid and I begin walking around the house peering into the many rooms that are crammed with people.

I bump back into Kylian in the kitchen and he tucks a strand of hair behind my ear. "Liv, you look paranoid." My heart flutters as his touch and I peer around still looking for my boyfriend.

"No I'm just looking for Jack." Kylian's face drops slightly and I stare at him with slight guilt.

"I haven't seen him since he left you with me." He merely states shrugging his shoulders subtly.

Neymar enters the kitchen and Messi comes in just behind him. "You alright, Olivia, you seem on edge?" Lionel raises an eyebrow at me as he leans against one of the kitchen counters.

The sound of a beer clicking open pings in my ears and the three of us look at Neymar who now has a fresh bottle in his hand. He takes a swig. "Have either of you seen Jack?" I fold my arms across my chest and tap my foot against the tiled floor.

Neymar shakes his head and swallows another mouthful, me and Kylian look at Lionel. He seems like he's pondering on something for a second before he speaks up. "He's that tall blond boy who came with you to the dinner?" The footballer stands up straight now and also crosses his arms against his chest.

"Yeah, brown eyes." I bite my lip waiting for Messi to say what he is going to say next.

"I think I saw him outside talking with a couple of people." He tells me.

"Okay thank you." I thank him before speed walking out of the kitchen and down the hallway to the back garden.

As I step outside the cold air nips at my bare arms and goosebumps are now evident on the surface of my white skin. A shiver pulls at my spine as I look around.

There's a massive pool that people are crowding round drinking and laughing, dancing to the music that blares out into the night.

A hot tub is occupied with two couples both making out side by side.

I grimace at the sight feeling awkward and somewhat embarrassed. I continue looking around the crowd scanning each and every face hoping that one will match the one of my boyfriend.

It's now been almost an hour since I last saw him and I don't know whether or not he's gone home because he's pissed off with me for some reason or fucking a girl in one of the upstairs bathrooms. Both wouldn't surprise me.

That sounds bad when you think about it but I wouldn't say that Jack is one hundred percent loyal.

But I don't need to go into detail, he said it was a mistake and I believed him and we moved on.

Relief rushes through me as my eyes meet Jack's and a smile tugs at my lips. However, it disappears as I see him coming towards me in a stagger.

He's drunk. And a couple of his buttons on his shirt are undone. His blond hair looking messier than usual.

I watch him carefully as he sloppily makes his way though the different groups of people.

The alcohol in his breath can be smelt as soon as he comes within five feet of me. My hands go to my hips as he grins lustfully down at me. His own hands go to wrap themselves around my waist but I push them away. "You're drunk." I spit and look at him dead in the face.

"No I'm not, I've had like nothing." Jack purses his lips and then slowly raises his eyebrows at me.

I shake my head in disbelief. "Okay, why are your buttons undone up here." I pull at his black shirt and he scratches the back of his neck.

"I got hot inside and so I undid them and then came outside. This house is so big isn't it I wish..."

"Jack you said you weren't going to drink, you have a meeting in the morning at eight and you have to drive us home. Now you can't."

He glances at me for a moment as a flash of guilt appears on his face. "You can drive can you not, and there is such thing as coffee, Olivia." His words are laced with venom and he takes a step closer to me.

My heart pounds in my chest and I don't dare remove my stare from my boyfriend in front of me. "I've had two beers, I can't drive. So now we are stuck here thanks to you. It's a forty minute walk, Jack, and I ain't doing that if your drunk. You could hardly walk over here yourself." I raise my voice a little and the boy just stares blankly back at me.

I go to walk away from him but he pulls me back by my arm. "We can get an Uber back it's no problem and then I'll pick the car up in the morning." For a minute he seems sober but as I we look into each other's eyes there is a sort of haze glazed over telling me all I need to know.

"Whatever, Jack. But that doesn't make it seem alright. You got drunk when you said you wasn't going to. You're now going to be hung over at your work conference and that's not gonna make you look good." With that I walk away from him and head back into the house with my arms wrapped around myself.
